9 Years!!!

Monday, Mike and I celebrated our 9th anniversary! Wow, 9 years. We had a fantastic day. We spent the day as a family, we took the kids to Roaring Springs waterpark and played in the sun. We enjoyed Olive Garden for dinner and all ate way too much. It was pretty much my first meal since the flu (oh ya, we got the flu this weekend apparently last week was just an upset stomach) and I ate one too many breadsticks and had a stomach ache. Oh well, it was worth it.

Mike & I and many other's who celebrated our wedding with us remember the significance of our wedding day. It was the day of the Salt Lake Tornado. We were married in the SL Temple, we had several pictures taken and the wind and rain picked up. I was getting upset because my hair was getting messed up! Silly thing to be worried about, the photographer wanted one more picture of Mike carrying me across the other side of the temple. Here it is. Can you see the storm forming in the background. COOL huh, Thanks Jerry for wanting one more picture!!

Here is another taken outside the temple. Just before the other picture. Every time a green storm comes, I get worried. This one hit too close to home. But you know what they say the worse the weather the better the marriage.
By night, the storm passed, the sun came out and we had a beautiful reception at Red Butte Gardens.
