Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween.

Jack - o- lanterns
2007

This is Mike and his brother's Halloween costumes, not sure of the year. But notice the outfit Mike is in. Left to Right. Sean-scarecrow, Dan-cowboy, Bill-indian, Mike-Raggedy Andy.

Jack fit the role of Raggedy Andy perfectly even without red hair. The wig got lost (only 30 years later) but I don't think Jack would have left it on anyway, he won't even wear hats.

I don't remember any Halloween as a kid not being a clown.
My mom made clown costumes each year for us and then the next year we passed the smaller ones down. Chad in blue, Kinzee center, Brody in red/black.

It only seemed appropriate to dress up the kids the same this year. Although, I can't take the credit for the costumes. I borrowed them from my mother in law Julie. Maddy didn't want makeup on or the hat or the collar. But she is at least in the pant suit.

Mike is such a good sport. He dressed up at least 3 times in celebration of Halloween.

Sandy & Raggedy Andy

Angel Maddy Grace and Clown Maddy Brooke had so much fun trick or treating. They would run from house to house, ring the door bell and yell "Trick or Treat." We were almost done and they both wanted to eat the candy that was getting very heavy in their bucket, so they sat right down on the curb and enjoyed a quick bite to eat.

Mike popped in these teeth and needed to dress himself up again.

This was taken at our wards carnival last Saturday. Perfect Christmas Card right:)

Halloween

Thanks Staci for the idea of blogging past Halloweens. Pics of kids to come!

My date with good old Chad Devere!

Another Halloween dance date with Ben Forsyth. This was one of my favorite dances even though my date tried not to have fun (oops I broke up with him a couple days before the dance:)

Staci & I going to a party. I don't think it was Halloween but we are dressed up.

This was my first Halloween down at UVSC and surprised everyone with my costume. No one knew it was me as a mime. My roomies Kim & Becky in pic.

Amber & I went with Rob & ___ as missionaries who decided to be pregnant. Sorry former missionaries!

My roomies and I went as farmers to a roller skating halloween party. Then on Halloween we went as baseball stars.

A Halloween party with married friends years later. Kenz as a gypsie, Mike was cheering for the SF Giants who were playing in the world series (we won't mention the outcome). Becky (I can't remember what you were) and Toby it is pretty obvious! Slim Jim. Jared & Jen came as fishing buddies. I still remember the food, must have been a great party.

Mike's pumpkin we grew our first year married in Lehi. I believe we both worked so we don't have any other pictures to celebrate.

Jr Jazz Basketball

I am embarrassed about my high bangs but had to show them off!

I think I can even name everyone.
Amber, Robin, Makinzee, Brooke, Lori
Jeni, Jamie or Jennifer, Julie, Jamie or Jennifer, Melanie

I would have scanned more but I already had then glued into the scrapbook and couldn't get them out.

Through the years!

I had some old photos of me scanned and wanted to share them.

Our nanny, Karen from Germany, took this picture. She was one of our favorite nannies, hopefully we weren't too bad and didn't drive her back to Germany.

This is one of my favorites. It was taken at my Aunt Jill's house in California. My cousin Ethan was in the original but Mike had it blown up with me and my mom and Ethan taken out.

Grampa Jack Price & Kinzee. We share the same birthday December 28. Grampa thought I would be named after him, Jackie or Jacqueline (my dad wanted) but my mom knew a fat Indian named Jackie and that name was out of the question!

Brooke & Kinzee

This is Mike's family Christmas picture 1976. The boys along the front are Dan, Sean, Mike, Bill. Wow don't Jack & Mike look alike.

Pumpkin Patch

Normally we have so many pumpkins in our garden we can't give them all away. This year the squash bugs killed the pumpkin plant so off we went to buy pumpkins at the pumpkin patch. BRRRR was it cold, the wind was blowing and I had to beg for this picture. After a brief hayride to the patch, we jumped off to find our perfect pumpkin among the thousands in the field. Jack immediately tripped over a tractor rut in the field and no longer wanted to participate so there goes my pictures of picking pumpkins! We came home with 4 pumpkins and look forward to carving them soon and enjoying salted pumpkin seeds.

Steve's Elk

This is for my dad. He is so proud of this elk, I thought I would share it with my friends too. It is worth bragging about. I won't post the picture of my dad and Uncle Bob cleaning it out in the river only in their g's! I can't tell you for sure where they got it but they had to pack the horses with all their necessities and hike in and out. It is in the wild, they saws a mountain lion and a bear within feet if not inches. I am glad they are safe.
