Normally we have so many pumpkins in our garden we can't give them all away. This year the squash bugs killed the pumpkin plant so off we went to buy pumpkins at the pumpkin patch. BRRRR was it cold, the wind was blowing and I had to beg for this picture. After a brief hayride to the patch, we jumped off to find our perfect pumpkin among the thousands in the field. Jack immediately tripped over a tractor rut in the field and no longer wanted to participate so there goes my pictures of picking pumpkins! We came home with 4 pumpkins and look forward to carving them soon and enjoying salted pumpkin seeds.

At least one person was having a good time. (Actually, ten years from now both Maddy and Jack will remember it as a great time!)
