Zoo Field Trip

Last month I went with Jack's preschool class on a field trip to the zoo. Maddy's class also went but she insisted she didn't want me to go with her and that she would go with the teacher. She is being so independent! Jack is doing much better at preschool and loving it. He just needs me and Danene to laugh at his pretend cry as we carry him into class. Now if only we could get him to go to sleep in his bed, another story for another time.

Here's the zoo. We finally were able to see the giraffes. Last time we went to the zoo-one died so they had the whole African safari roped off. He looks healthy, now they just need some elephants to make the safari complete.
This monkey was a chatting away at someone.
And another favorite, the penguins.

Here's 1/2 of the class by the tigers.

And this is the stubborn Jack not smiling for a picture.

And a trip to the zoo is not complete with out at least one round on the carousel.

Next week's field trip is the pumpkin patch!

That zoo has changed so much over the years. What a fun fieldtrip - and look at the great weather! Perfect! Love the smiles (even the one that's upside down!)
