Any how...here are pictures of our Easter weekend. First up coloring eggs. This year no dye was eaten guess that means we are growing up. We even colored the raw eggs Maddy & Jack had so much fun coloring eggs.

And yes many were broken but still were dyed. We colored 3 dozen hard boiled and 1 dozen raw and ate the last 4 eggs today. The kids gobbled them up, the rest were made into eggs golden rod and potato salad. Too bad they aren't always colored they look so pretty.Next up was an Easter egg hunt. The rain came and went and we were able to gather more candy and plastic eggs then the kids knew what to do with. This is the field before the kids ran out to gather. I love this hunt because they do it by age groups. Both kids came out with a haul.
Jack all done gathering and ready to partake of his goods.
Maddy sat right down and got as much as she wanted also.

Mouths full of tootsie rolls! & Lexi all cuddled up slept through the whole event.
By the end of the day we were worn out. Maddy was dancing and hit the wall and got a good bruise and cut on her chin. Yep, she's as graceful as her mother and according to my dad her grand mother too (grama brooke)! Too bad you can't see Lexi's back side...it is a bunny too.
Easter morning the kids were so excited to find their baskets and see what was inside. Jack quickly gobbled up as much as he could and then didn't want any breakfast because he was too full. But he has enjoyed the candy...I can't wait til it's gone.
Maddy also enjoyed her candy. She loves curly hair so the rollers stayed it just until church time.

We got all dressed up and ready to snap some pics before church. Lexi was screaming and every picture was blurry except this one and Lexi is barely in it. Oh well, I hope to have a professional picture taken of the girls in their matching dresses and in Lexi's blessing dress soon. Jack too will get his 3 year old pics taken, so I wasn't too worried we didn't get a perfect pic. I love Easter Sunday checking out everyone in their new spring attire. It's not so much just an Easter dress as it is welcoming Spring and goodbye winter. And as long as the kids will let me pick out Easter outfits they will be matching. Maddy was thrilled to match her lil' sis. Too bad I didn't decide to get matching outfits until Saturday afternoon. I had a hard time finding something that matched all 3 last minute.
And after church our friend snapped one of all of us but the sun was out and it was hard to keep your eyes open.
All in all, Easter was wonderful including ham and grits for dinner. We missed actually seeing the Easter bunny but Maddy was happy he left her lots while she was sleeping. She told me that lots of people come while she is sleeping: the leprechaun, the Easter bunny, the tooth fairy and Santa. One day she'll be very disappointed to find out what else happens while she is sleeping!!

What a fun Easter. The kids all look so cute in their Easter outfits. I'm with you on the bunny, I think he's white. :)
You guys eat grits?! You should live in the south. I never even heard of them until we moved here! Very cute pictures!
Mmmmm...grits. I know what you are talking about, I have not had those forever!
Looks like a fun-filled easter with the kids, cute outfits!
How do you find matching dresses for the girls? Most of the time they don't have them small and larger that match?
I was trying to pick out which photos I liked the most, but your kiddos are adorable in all of them. They have such cute smiles! I will put a vote in too, I say the Bunny is white. Sorry Mike.
The Easter Bunny is most definitely WHITE! What planet is Mike from?? ;) (j/k of course!) Cute, cute pics of some even cuter kids! Looks like Easter was super fun at your house! Love that Easter Egg hunt too. That looked like tons of fun! Darling baby Lexi is already looking not so much newborn-ish anymore. Gosh, time flies huh? Love the new family picture on your header too. Looks like being a mom to 3 really agrees with you! You are DARLING! :)
I still can't get over how much Maddy looks like the little Makinzee I remember! We missed our friends' egg hunt this year -- it just wasn't the same hiding eggs around the hotel room -- but we had other fun. I think this weekend we'll be playing catch-up -- coloring eggs and pictures of new clothes!
Fun Easter! Glad you guys had fun! I love the pics! You are a cute family! I miss you! And the actual Easter bunny is white, but he does bring a chocolate one, so you're both a little right:) Love ya babe!
Sounds like a fun weekend! Where did you go for the Easter Egg Hunt? The girls look so cute!
Oh, you have to teach me how to go hair! Maddie is so pretty and I love the outfits! Jack looks really grown up in your new blog header picture and Lexi is even looking more Loveridge as she gets older. What cute kids. I'm so glad to see you had a great Easter with all the traditional goings on!
Kenz, you guys are the cutest little family. I love it. I can't believe how big your kids are getting. It is crazy. I love the picture of Maddy holding Lexi. They are darling!!!!
Ohh, we missed out on so much not being with you for this special holiday. Thanks for sharing it on line. I add my vote for a white Easter bunny, even if the chocolate ones are always brown!
...umm until you actually see him, like I HAVE, you may continue to fantasize about a white Easter Bunny. But let me tell you now there is a reason that Chocolate Bunnies are soooo popular for Easter.
