You Two?

eI was missing in action at the last t-ball game of the season. Thanks to great friends and family the kids didn't even miss us. We did miss them getting their trophy.

Last game of the season was last night. I think we had 2 games that were sunny, the rest were cold and cold. No one seemed to complain. The team did great and won 1st place. Hehe! I only know a couple kids and the coach so I won't name everyone. PS if you don't want to coach don't volunteer to help and they won't assign you to coach:) Rachel was a fabulous and very patient coach. I volunteer her for next team sign ups as well.

Can you spot our kids?

Isn't he cute. Sometimes he can be such a stinker and not want his picture taken but look at that grin! I just learned he loves to wear his hat sideways on purpose. If you try to make it straight, he puts it right back this way.
And that's really only one missing tooth but lots of gaps. That's ok, when kids start to loose teeth they look more grown up. I want this one to stay little forever. She had school lunch yesterday and has one more week of Kindergarten. Where does the time go?

So we missed the last night of t-ball where were we? This is where Mike and I ventured too.

Did u make it 2?

This is my 3rd U2 concert and Mike's 4th or 5th, I've lost track. I was not too happy about going to this one and complained and asked more than once if this was "his last U2 concert". BUT after being in the stadium, seeing the love for music the band has, hearing the music to the point where I couldn't' talk to the person next to me because it was so loud and knowing so many of the songs sung, I remembered I grew up with this band. So if they come again, maybe they will Bono has a new back after all, I'll go with you Mike! Drag me there and I'll probably love it again.

Thanks Julie for the great pictures!

They are such cute baseball players! I saw another photo of Maddy recently-probably one that Mike's mom tagged of you on FB. Anywho...she is looking more and more like you! I bet that concert was so fun! Be glad that your hubby takes you to things like that. Miss you!

Haha. Poor Rachel. I'm sure she was a great coach! :) I'll remember to never offer to help. Ha!

T-ball! Another thing I meant to do with my kids one day and still haven't gotten to. Oh well, I mostly just wanted those cute baseball pics to show off anyway. Will you hate me if I say I don't like U2? But I still think that looks like a fun date night.

Oh my gosh!! Those two are looking more like their parents every day--what cute kids they are! Tony's the original rocker (did you know he has his own brick with his name on it at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame??), but when I asked if he wanted to go to U2, he didn't. Now, if Pink Floyd were here----

If the concert had been on its original night, this post would have happened last June and we would have made the t-ball game.
Oh, and just so you know, I told Makinzee that I would be ok with this as my last U2 concert. My first was in the same stadium 14 years ago. The funny part was that I didn't know more than 2 or 3 songs at the first one. This time around, I had heard all of them and didn't remember the lyrics to only a couple.

I'm sure U2 puts on an awesome concert! I have some great memories connected to their songs. Glad you guys enjoyed a fun date night!
And what cute little baseball players you have!
