Aquarium

For Christmas my cousin Bridget and I got a pass to the Living Planet Aquarium, a place where we have always wanted to visit but just haven't. The hubs didn't have to work, so we met up in the afternoon for a field trip.

We loved it. Mike was experimenting with the camera so you get lots of pics of just the reptiles. Some were pretty cool. This is definitely a place for everyone of all ages. Maddy and Jack even bravely touched a sting ray and a star fish. Lexi on the other hand just got really wet!

I have never seen an octopus before. Wow, glad he was in a cage! I wouldn't want to come in contact with him in the ocean.

We just missed watching the penguin feeding but will have plenty of opportunities to see them in the future. Here's how the kids measure up to the penguins.

After we came back and had pizza, bread sticks, salad and of course root beer and dessert and yay most of my Christmas goodies disappeared without me having to feel guilty to eat them.

We played Ticket To Ride a first for Bridget and Gary and they loved it.

We can't wait to go to the aquarium again!
