Graduation

Lexi graduated from preschool!

She was so excited to graduate except she kept calling it her talent show. The last week of school was so busy we attended talent shows, fantastic falcon awards, baseball games, class party's etc. She was so excited to graduate although she asks every day if she goes to preschool today.

During the "graduation" the class shows off. They sing songs,
say the Pledge of Allegience
tell us their shapes, colors and numbers including counting to 20 in Spanish.
And then they do some more singing. This is from Dr Jean's Silly Songs, it's called "A Tootie Tot"
T
We designed her paper doll to be what she wanted to be when she grows up.

A princess!

And then they receive their Diploma and scrapbook of accomplishments for the year. Going into preschool, Lexi didn't know any letters except "x". She can now write her name and can recognize most of her letters and numbers. She can recite her phone number and count to 10 in Spanish. She finally sings her ABC's and is constantly singing songs from preschool.
She loved going to school and meeting and making new friends. I love Miss Linda (Jack graduated from her school too) but decided to switch Lexi to a closer preschool where she will meet new friends that will go to Elementary school with. It was the hardest decision, I just love Miss Linda! Lexi's BF heads to Kindergarten next year, it'll be a hard adjustment for both I think.

Congratulations Lexi on LOTS of accomplishments this year! Love you so much!

Her BF Abby had a Tea Party. This is a picture of her having the best of times. I need to get a copy of the other pictures, it was such a cute party. The girls had the best time and SHE loved every minute of it.

I asked her what her favorite part of the party was and she said when Abby gave her a hug. Lexi gave Abby her all time favorite gift from her birthday..."The Princess and the Popstar!"

A Tootie Tot is the most embarrassing song ever. They always make us sing that with the kids at our preschool. Much more fun to just watch the kids do it. I love the tea party pic with the big hat. She looks so proper.

Lexi is such a little doll! Growing up way too fast! Looks like the graduation was great and I love that she wants to be a princess when she grows up. That will be easy because she already is one. The princess doll was adorable!
