Christmas 2014

We spent a relaxing Christmas Eve at home this year--well morning anyway! Sometimes we do breakfast out, sometimes we have other parties to go to, sometimes we have to work and sometimes it is just nice to get last minute things done at home!

My Dad told me the Price's Eve party started at 5. We were the first to show up and the church was locked, so we went to Great Grandma Price's (surprised her I'm sure) and hung out til the party started at 6. We enjoyed a delish spread and then waited for the jolly old fellow.
Tif and I didn't like the first pic
so took another and decided we liked it better;)
The kids ran the halls as usual. We were up to 90 this year. Price Family keeps growing!
Jolly Old Fellow came again this year and first up on his list was Miss Lillian. She walked right up, sat right down, no tears, no fears and was excited for a present!

On top of  her wish list from Santa was a Snowman! She's been  asking for it all year long.
Lexi was along the way. She asked Santa for a box of oranges. That was also on her list all year long-(that and an iPad!)

Several cousins had babies this year. This is Byron he matched Santa.
Jack was next. He asked Santa for a new video game and then said I'd also like an x-box 1! He also has been asking for this all year long.

Madison was last again! She didn't mind. She asked Santa for art stuff.

Santa then called out the gifts from Grandma. My Dad was even good and got to sit on Santa's lap. It wasn't too long ago we always all sat on Santa's lap. Now there are so many great grands only those 12 and younger sit on his lap! And it still takes hours! BUT it's the best part of the party and something old and young look forward too.
We were so lucky to have Brody in town for Christmas Eve also. He flew in earlier that afternoon.
Even I sat on Santa's lap. You are# nevertooold #Believe

After the party we rushed home to open our Chrimstas jammies!

Surprisingly these 4 went quickly and quietly to bed. It had been a long night and it was late and they went to bed with no peeps! They were sad Mom didn't make reindeer food this year--forgot and ran out of time, but we did have carrots we left for the reindeer along with cookies for Santa and eggnog!

Christmas morning they woke up to find stockings with a snowman inside!! and snow outside. I think she was just as excited for the snow outside as the snowman in her stocking!

and Jack also got his wish from Santa. an x box 1!
Also on his wish list was a skate board with skulls on it! Oh no we are already entering the skull faze with this kid!

And Lexi opened a box of oranges and was so excited!! She even said she would share. Grandma and Grandpa also came just as we were opening gifts! We were excited to have them. They brought so many gifts! Lilly was worn out!
Maddy got her art supplies and paints and canvas' to paint on with books on how to paint! I can't wait to hang her work on the walls.
In Lilly's stocking was a hat and mittens. She wore them the whole morning including unwrapping her gifts!
Mike found a giant surprise under the tree and could hardly stand the suspense of waiting til the presents in front were unwrapped. It was a cot for camp!
Mom and Dad gave the kids a Disneyland trip for Christmas. We are going in March when we  are on track break and also before Lillian turns 3 and we have to pay for her! Lexi jumped up and down she was so excited!! It'll be here before we know it!

After presents were unwrapped and house sort of put back together, Uncle Brody came to say hi before we went to Grandma Price's for Eggs Goldenrod breakfast.

Lilly is still wearing her hat and gloves!
After breakfast and naps the snow was calling the kids names! They all went out and played til it was time to go to dinner in Lehi with the Loveridge's.
Maddy even made a snowman which Lilly was delighted at! She didn't last too long outside--it was cold.
We drove thru the snow to Bill & Stephanie's house for dinner. The kids sang karaoke--it was a hit!

Even those on the couch sang along to Frozen!
or played on their phones.
Miss Lilly spent a lot of the night here--she is struggling still and so am I. Holding her poop now and it hurts!  I am not sure what to do with her. She wants diapers but can do it--I'm trying to stay strong but we spend so much time here--I saw WE because she can't do it herself anymore. Mom or Dad or Grandpa or Jack has to tag along.
Karsyn and Lexi both got Pooping La La Loopsy's from Grandma. It was a great night, with so much yummy food and wonderful company. I loved when we were all just sitting around laughing and talking. That is what Christmas is for---bringing FAMILY together!
I am deeply touched by the love and generosity of others. We received more money that expected, gift cards, vacations, in addition to many presents under the tree. We have more than we need and are so grateful for all that we have. I am grateful for good health, for food on the table, for shelter over head, for cars that work (even if Mike's needed a new radiator this month a $650 unexpected bill), the gospel,  and esp for my Savior. I am grateful he came to earth to die for me. I hope we reminded the kids this, for FHE and on Christmas we reminded our children of the Savior at Christmas. Love the message from the church #sharethegift

PLUS - calendar Christmas Eve breakfast again for 2015. And maybe even a movie that afternoon. Plan on it now - you will not have any time for anything else except all the family parties on Christmas Eve in 2015.

Your Christmas morning pictures are awesome! It's so magical with kids.
Disneyland sounds so fun. My in-laws invited us to Disneyworld in March and we had to turn them down because of Ben and the wrench he's thrown into our plans.
2015 will be a fun year of traveling for your family. That's the best gift and my favorite thing to do- enjoy! Before Ben's unexpected arrival, we had also planned to do Cancun with the kids this year (also in March- for an optometry conference at Fiesta Americana Condessa- I think that's next door to the Moon Palace). So funny that you're going the same places we were hoping to and during the same month. NICU bills instead- lucky us :)
Merry Christmas!
And a staycation is such a fun idea and gift. I have heard of the Piano Guys, but I've never listened to their music- I'll have to check them out.

So, was there an XBOX in that box or did you seriously just give him a box marked with an X because that is hilarious!
