September

Odd and End photos.
Jack and Lincoln and Ryan enjoying Homecoming Game for WJHS. Not sure they watch much of the game, but play a mean game on the sidelines.
Lexi started swimming for Heriman Aquatics, I sometimes wonder what have I gotten myself into. BUT she is our little fish so we will make it work. She loves it, it is hard work for 90 minutes 3 days a week. I'm excited to see where she goes, she is excited to swim in the Olympics one day!
I think this was August, but we went to the Bee's game for reading all summer long. Grandma and Grandpa were there too, it was a fun night out with $2 tacos, train rides, popcorn and baseball!
One afternoon after school, Layla and Lilly and I went to Daybreak Lake to feed the ducks. There is just something about quacking ducks, stale bread, the wind and water to make any one's day wonderful!

Lexi and her friend Katelyn. They are on different tracks this year but live close enough we can play after school without running across the valley to play! They just adore each other.
Maddy kept softly reminding me it was her year for a birthday party. I do it every other year, I really really really wasn't looking forward to it. BUT I buckled down and had to do it quickly before it was Mike's birthday do a party. Mike borrowed a giant movie screen, we rented the Jungle Book, had hot dogs and smores and treats outside and had a movie late night with friends. Lots of giggling and laughter and fun.

Hey look, the balloons were still here 17 days later so they made the birthday photo! We had crepes and peaches for breakfast, the kids delivered it to Mike for breakfast in bed. Only the best when you are 41 years old! Mike's big day fell on a Saturday, so we did kids games (Maddy's playing volleyball and Jack basketball), and then we came home and he enjoyed In n Out burger for lunch. We pretty much sat around all day and then enjoyed Joe Morley's bbq for dinner. It was divine and delish and one of a kind restaurant, I highly recommend it. Not even sure where Mike heard of it. Thanks Brent and Julie and Grandma for joining us for dinner. We came home and had coconut cake for dinner. I'd been asking Mike for days what he wanted for his cake, he texted me something and I looked at him like are you serious. It was a coconut cake but I knew I had a yummy oned Pinned on Pinterest so I made mine. LOL, poor guy never gets exactly even on his birthday!
I surprised him with power beats ear buds. I had to order them through works Amazon account because he gets all the emails from Amazon and would have known what he was getting. He was pleasantly surprised! We had a singing light up candle for his cake. I really got it for his 40th birthday but then decided to use different candles last year, it was perfect for the coconut sheet cake. And it was quite tasty, nice choice babe. Oh wait, it was my choice:)

Love this old guy and am grateful he is mine. He teaches us patience, loves us with our flaws and is our biggest cheer leader. He doesn't ask for much but would give the world for anyone around him. Happy Birthday Michael! Love you to the moon and back!
