Spring Fever

The kids were out on the driveway this afternoon riding bikes and enjoying the sunshine although it was only 37' at 11:30 am. The sunshine is awesome. I thought I would go and see if I could see any tulips peeking up through the ground and look what I found!!

Every spring I always say I want to plant more tulips so I can enjoy them in the spring. Maddy & I planted 50 new tulips last fall, I believe it is a mix of pinks. This afternoon the 3 of us all wandered around the front yard looking for new growth coming up!! Mike made the comment that maybe they will be in bloom for Easter which is early this year, March 23rd.

Oh, how cool! I miss our yard - the blood, sweat, and tears we put in! Ugh, to start all over. Maybe I should plant this spring/fall so I can enjoy it next year. I can't wait to see the blossoms!

I wish we had tulips. It is always a happy day to see them start popping up out of the ground. :D

Spring is going to be gorgeous in your yard! You must have inherited the love of tulips from Grandmother!

I actually pruned my roses this morning (should have last fall but my back got in the way). That was the only thing poking out of the SNOW and its snowing some more! I want to see bare ground. Do tulips come up under the snow?
