Bubbles

Here are some of the highlights and low lights (if that's a word) of our weekend. The weather was beautiful mid 70's if not 80'. On Saturday morning, we went with the McMullins and the Cardwell's to Eagle Island State Park and played frisbee golf. Crazy but I am sore from throwing a frisbee--guess I need to work those muscles more. We had lunch and the kids had a great time playing. Didn't think to bring the camera but want to go back when it is warmer, they have a water slide and a water pond you can wade in. We came home for Jack's nap and Mike mowed the lawn and tilled the garden while Maddy and I ran to the store and washed the car. We came home and I scratched my brand new car along the side of the garage. More damage done to the garage then the car. Mike said he is glad it was me not him that left the first mark. It's not too bad, most of it wiped off but definitely left a mark!! After Jack's nap we played outside with bubbles. Maddy & Jack got this bubble blower and some water guns for Easter and the weather was finally nice enough to play with them. I had so many bubble pictures I couldn't decide which was my favorite so I posted a slide show so you could see them all.

We all have sunburned noses (not to mention new freckles:()and arms. BUT loved the sun and a beautiful weekend. Just before church on Sunday, Jack found the pink nail polish and painted his nails, jammies and not to mention the carpet where the bottle dumped out in my bedroom. The carpet is pink and I am out of ideas for getting it out? Anyone know any secrets?

Needless to say, child #2 remains my child that always is into something. All in all we had a wonderful spring weekend.

Very cute pictures! Sorry I don't have any ideas about the carpet, but let me know if you find something that works. It's always good to know!

Frisbee sounds fun, I can't wait for Spring weather here. Sorry about the car and carpet. Two in one weekend, that's bad. What is it with the second child- mine colored all over the couch with a red ball point pen yesterday, and she KNOWS that's not okay. Luckily mine came out. Hope you find something.

I DO KNOW SOMETHING THAT WILL GET IT OUT!!! I don't remember the name of it though. I will have to go home and look at it and write aother post. You guy it Home Depot. Belle smeared some polish on my beige rug, and this got it out in seconds. HAVE NO FEAR....kristy is here!!:0)

Oh my goodness, that boy keeps you on your toes. I just have to laugh everytime you have a story about him. I don't know what I would do. Take pictures for evidence, I guess. So, the paint in my kitchen is Ralph Lauren and we got it at Home Depot. It has sand it, I don't remember what they call it but I just love it and it looks amazing. If you ever end up wanting to use it I'll find out what its called.

Those pictures are so cute! They are growing up FAST, especially Jack. Wow, he is a curious little one, isn't he? I hope you got it out. I don't know what you could use besides polish remover. Playing frisbee is a great workout. I am glad you had fun!

Gosh! We are south of you, so we should have warmer weather...but no, it SNOWED here on Sunday!!!!
As for the nail polish, try paint thinner or hydrogen peroxide. Wait, what color is your carpet to begin with?
