Despite Protests... we're in the hospital

Well, we woke up bright and early, dropped the kids off at a friend's house, and headed to the hospital to bring little Alexis into the world. After getting settled in, we heard all this yelling and whistling outside. A quick glance out the window revealed the source: a full-fledged picket line from the carpenter's union griping about a lost contract, or something:

Now that things are progressing, the doctor has predicted an early afternoon delivery. I guess we'll see how it goes, and I'll keep you posted. ;)
