Sometimes the tooth hurts
Several of Maddy's friends have lost their first tooth and Maddy kept wondering when it would be her turn. For weeks she has been saying "maybe tomorrow my tooth will be loose." We check every day and no toothy loosy. Mike checked her bottom teeth yesterday and after wiggling it forcefully, sure enough it moved just a little bit! She was delighted, but we were certain it would still be weeks or even months before it came out. I'm not sure of all the details except that Maddy and Jack were playing rough on the couches and suddenly Maddy was crying because Jack kicked her and then she was crying more because she was bleeding and then she was crying even more when she realized she was missing her tooth that only yesterday was moving just a tiny bit. I think it scared her more then she was expecting and after an hour of telling her it was okay she smiled for a picture.

Well, that's one way to catch up with the rest of the class. Ouch!
Oh, that's funny! She kept talking about it last night, and was really scared about the thoughts that it would come out one day but knew it wasn't ready yet. But one day... and then she was scared about that day. And I certainly was guessing it would have to be hanging by a little flap of skin before it came out, certainly not barely wiggly. Way to go Jack!!!!! Can't wait to hear if the tooth fairy made it!

Yes luckily the tooth was right on the floor. She was so excited to get a gold dollar under her pillow. Talk about no time at all for that tooth fairy to find her!

Christian has only lost 2 so far.. I am surprised....
