School pictures are finally back.
Kindergarten Picture ~ 5 years
Jack is reading!! Yay. He has come a long way since the beginning of school. He has mastered his sight words and is enjoying sounding out things. The other day we were driving and he said "what does KFC mean?" In front of us was KFC. I told him he read it right and that it stands for Kentucky Fried Chicken. I told him mom isn't a fan of chicken so we don't eat at that fast food restaurant. Poor kids...never get to experience KFC!
Afternoon kindergarten has been so great for us. We work on homework, letters, reading in the morning. We have time to play and are relaxed and not rushed to get out the door. We have lunch and then head to school.
Lexi & I usually run errands after. She gets so excited when we go shopping! Today she was very upset when we didn't go to the ocean after dropping Jack off at school. She has been reading a book about everything that lives in the ocean and is SO fascinated by it. She even called Dad at work today and asked him if we could go to the ocean. She named all the things she wanted to see that lived in the ocean. I hope we don't run into these things however! Guess we'll have to make another trip to the aquarium soon.
1st Grade Picture ~ 7 years
Maddy is a great student. She loves school. With helping Jack learn to read and entertaining Lexi when putting the kids to bed at night, Maddy often gets stuck reading to herself. She doesn't seem to mind too much. She likes reading silently. I was helping in her class this week and the teacher asked her to help someone with his math. She loves math. I just hope I can keep up with her. Some of the questions are tricky and she is only in 1st grade! She has a wiggly tooth but won't let anyone touch it. I guess the first 2 that were lost dramaticly and she wants to have a regular experience this time around.
Pregnancy update. Sorry no darling picture of me!! 32 weeks
Had my glucose test this week. Dr said if theres a problem she'll call. Haven't heard so guess all is well. Finally got over a 2 month cold. Well kind of...the kids have been sneezing the past 2 days. Let's hope I can skip this one. Had a lovely sinus infection and have been so tired. I feel much better and in better spirits even though I've gained 32 pounds in 8 months. Sigh.
We are still stuck on names. So many cute girl names and almost every name I think about I know someone who's also named that.
Heartburn. Peeing. Sleeping pretty good. Crazy pregnancy dreams!
And I'm now onto 2 week checkups. Where has the time gone?
Little Girl will be here before we know it!

Those pictures did take forever to get back! The kids are looking cute.
Better plan a trip to the beach soon (I'd be happy to tag along) :)
And I can't believe you're so close to having that baby- April is just around the corner.
I'm sorry you've been sick. Send the kids over ANY time, seriously, I am almost always here, and my kids love to play with you yours. You can take a nap. And my kids will be entertained.

Cute pics and it sounds like it has been a great year so far. I am so jealous that you only have half day Kindergarten. I also dislike KFC but Seth and the kids love it so I suffer through it once a year or so.
Any front runners for baby names? I love baby girl names.
I love the school pictures of the kids and it is fun to hear an update of what is going on at school. The reading is so exciting!!! We have made tons of little books with Noah's sight words and he is finally willing to sound out words and read- it is so stinking cute to have them read to you huh?! Maddy is such a cutie! And fun updates on you. I gained 1 lb at my last appt- I was shocked, I swear my gains are so inconsistent...but I won't complain because I can't tell you how many treats I have on a meal by meal basis!! :) We are getting down there!! And the preg dreams are crazy!!
Those pics are so darling! I can't believe that you're only just getting them though, didn't they take them like in September? Wow. I can't believe you're already 32 weeks! It seems like only a few weeks ago that you were announcing pregnancy at all. And you still look amazing and cute pregnant. I honestly can't tell that you've gained any weight at all... well except for the belly. ;)
Love the pictures. I'm going to pluck them into my files. The kids are doing so well. I want to go to the ocean, too!
And you are beautiful! Must be totally baby weight! But you don't even look like you've gained anything in the belly except your cute little bump. I'm excited that you're getting down to the wire. Can't wait to snuggle her in my arms, even if she doesn't have a name.

Your kids sound like they are doing so well in school. I bet that makes you one happy mom.
I am glad you are feeling better. Except, for the heartburn and other pregnancy related stuff. I hate heartburn.
