Fluffy & Lilly
- Cold, cough, ear and eye infection. Yay for Amoxicilian
- Yeast still on bum...Doctor recommends:wash out diaper wipe with water, clean bum, blow dry bum, apply Nystatin (yeast cream), then destiton original and don't forget to blow dry in between layers.
- Did i mention amoxicilan usually causes diarrhea and yeast and we are supposed to take the medicine twice a day for ten days.
- 8 days later her bum is still red, any suggestions??
- Blow outs, blow outs, blow outs, laundry, laundry, laundry!
- Found her hands
- kicks and kicks
- Oohing and goofing
- 13 pounds 10 ounces
- Officially switched over to 3-6 month clothes
- Sleep has had its ups and downs this month especially bad when she was sick but last night 10.5 hours!! Hopin g that number stays consistent

Have you ever tried using just straight corn starch? It honestly works wonders!
So cute! And sad about the sickies and diaper rash! You can do a warm bath with baking soda in it to soothe the pain. And let her go naked for as long as you dare after a diaper change, just letting that little bum be out in the air does wonders! Also, my homemade rememdy is to mix equal parts of the nystatin, desitin, and neosporin (because yeast usually includes a little bacterial problem too, especially stubborn yeast). Works WONDERS! I have a little "baby" bowl with a lid, like you'd take cheerios to church in, and I mix a big batch in that and just keep the lid on it so I don't have to mix it every time I change a diaper. I hope this doesn't offend you but Alyssa is singing a song about how Lilly is chubby. We LOVE chubby babies and are all smiling at how cute she is!!!
:( my earlier comment didn't post. Lilly is so adorable. Love the big bow, too. Baby's were made for big bows, I think. Her eyes still look so dark! But I think they're going to turn blue, don't you?
So sad about the diaper issues, though. Being a baby is tough enough without an itchy bum. I like Coco's suggestions. Sure love you guys!
