Kids were so excited for the first day of school. They had their new clothes all picked out, breakfast, brushed their teeth and then Dad drove them to the bus to wait to see if it showed up. He picked these 2 up and 3 others, quiet day on the bus.
We went last week and meet their new teachers and found their classrooms really it was so I could be lazy and avoid the chaos of the first day!

Thanks to pinterest and my amazingly talented SIL, I came up with these back to school gifts for my school kids and teachers. Lexi will be so excited to see this when she officially starts preschool next week. It's rolos and a Hershey kiss. Although, I couldn't find rolos so I used sprees.
School started and Lexi and Lilly and I were already bored. So we headed to see Grammies and then went to Cowboy Grub for some lunch and a trip or two around the merri-go-round.
We sure miss these two all day!

Oh, can they just stop growing just for a minute or two? They are changing so fast and I see a young woman and young man emerging from these two in every photo you post! Love all the fun things you do. They looked so ready for school!

Oh dang it! We start tomorrow and I have been scrambling around all evening trying to remember all of the things that come with school days but I totally spaced first day gifts for the teachers. The kids look great and they even look happy to be back in school?
