Synergize

Jack was recognized as a leader in me this week at school. He has been patiently waiting for his time to be recognized. After the assembly he told his teacher Mrs W thank you for choosing me. She told me later that he easily could be chosen for each habit; he is a hard worker, a good friend and example and leader and works hard.

Jack & 4 other classmates were recognized at school.

I also attended Parent Teacher conference this week. I joked with Jack that his report card needed improvement because he had 2 3's and the rest were 4's. He looked at me and was very concerned. I immediately said I'm joking your report card is amazing and way to go!

Jack is reading at level M, he scored 20/20 on his unit math test where the average score is 17 or below. He has recently started borrowing and carrying in math (or grouping and I grouping). It has been something he has had to work at and he has figured it out. I'm amazed that most problems he does in his head but writing the problem down is harder. I also loved math and it was easy for me I hope this continues. He needs to work on fluency and reading out loud but is doing above average.

I loved attending Parent/teacher conference this year. As I walked towards Jacks teacher his teachers from the last two years smiled and jack and me. It is so comforting knowing and having wonderful teachers that have taught Jack so much. I am very grateful for teachers. They are amazing and do so much for our children. In excited to see who he will get for 3rd grade, I've really loved the 3rd grade team at Elk Meadows.

Jack also participated in Stone Soup at school, he didn't mention anything about it til I saw the note for the performance the next day.  He enjoyed singing in the performance and enjoyed the play that the 2nd grade did.

more musical performances for Jack to come, he and Madison are participating in choir. two days a week they have to be to school  7:45am and practice Rock n Roll! they have both been working hard at this talent, they musty get there love for music from dad because I sing but only at church!1

Congratulations to you, Jack! I should have read this earlier so I could tell you in person. You are definitely a leader, and a choice grandson! Also, wish I could have seen you in Stone Soup. So glad you love to sing!

Did you see Ally get her award? She was also synergize, but I couldn't make it to the award ceremony. I gave hear a heads up, but I still felt terrible, maybe she saw some familiar faces in the audience?
Way to go Jack!
