More cornbelly's

On Halloween afternoon, we went to Cornbelly's for the last time on our 2015 season pass. We had some of our freebies to use before they expired. Our favorite today was the apple shooting. We each had a basket of apples to put into a blaster and then shoot at targets. It was loud but awesome! Lexi hit the minions hand, Mike made another minon spin a circle and the kids all hit the targets. Kindof fun to save til the last day even though lots of others had done the same thing. Ooops. It was a nice day, it was much cooler than it had been all of October but the crowds were not bad. We had a great day and filled the time until it was time to trick or treat. We also enjoyed hot chocolate and snow cones and kettle corn along with a pumpkin eating contest and drop. The pumpkin drop so so cool.  Mike did the bull ride and Maddy did Cole's Corral. We even had another apple blaster at home that Jack forgot to put into the bag. Oh well. Here are some videos and pictures from the month.

Jack entered a pumpkin pie eating contest!

Pumpkin drop

Random picture but shows that we trick or treated with the rain drop with cousins!
November 1st is usually a pumpkin smashing day, but since it fell on a Sunday they did it on Halloween. The kids hauled pumpkins from the patch to line up and smash. It was harder than it looked. Lexi had to choose the biggest pumpkin and it was quite heavy to carry it. BUT she enjoyed smashing it with Mike's help.

Jack choose a baseball bat to smash his pumpkins with.

Cute Lilly loved smashing her baby pumpkin as well.

Maddy also choose a bat to smash the pumpkin with. It was quite slippery with all the pumpkin guts and seeds but a lot of fun (so I heard).
We also trick or treated and saw Anna and Elsa.
When the girls and I went to Thriller, Mike took the two little cousins to Cornbelly's. He had their faces painted--just tried to take a picture of them in the sun. Lol. They're trying hard to show off their beautiful faces.

Jack entered and won a pumpkin pie eating contest and then the kids played musical pumpkins.

Here's Mike riding the bull. He made it 12 seconds and said it was hard to stay on!
And then a couple layouts from #projectlife that I made over the month. I want to start doing my scrapbooking this way. So i'm practicing when I remember. I realize I take a lot of photos on my phone!

We loved our monthly cornbelly pass especially because we were off track and especially because we had lot and lots of cousins to go hang out with. Fall break day is always crowded but that day we decided to leave early and go ride the horses at the farm. That was just as much fun and a beautiful day! We've had gorgeous October weather. A couple rainy days but mostly sunshine and of course fun!
