We then headed into another busy crazy Saturday including 2 basketball games. At the same time. A baptism and then heading to Kamas for the Price/Wilson Christmas party. I didn't get pictures of basketball or the baptism. My favorite was when Jake baptized his son with the wrong name. Lincoln got to be dunked twice! We then headed to Kamas where the party was just getting started. Everyone was there except Nick and Tia who were on the way when Paizlie started to throw up so they turned around.
We played a new game called Code Names. It was fun and hard and challenging and a great group name. Jake and Alex always have the best games!
The house was decorated for Christmas and always looks beautiful. I especially love the new wall color and furniture. So much that this is where I stole my bedroom wall color from. Beautiful! It was especially fun to have Brody and his new wife! She got to experience us in full force this weekend.
Chad and Brody were both in town. They are working on the same schedule and living together in ND. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing!! We always love to see them.
Lilly wanted to hold baby Sawyer. She was a trooper and so excited for all the festivities she wouldn't go to sleep. BUT she was so happy that it was just fine to have her be awake all day.
Getting 2 three year olds to look at the camera and smile is tricky!
We played games, ate food and had a great evening!
We spent the night and went to church with Grandma and Grandpa. We woke up to frost on the windshield in addition to my water bottle being frozen! IT was so cold! The next storm was soon approaching.
After church, Tifani and I and with some help of the kids dipped chocolates. She had spent lots of prep time making fondant, and caramel and getting everything ready to dip! It was so fun. I also learned that it takes talent to make them pretty. I am not sure if mine were prettier than the kids or not! BUT they are super yummy.
After lunch and chocolates we headed home. I was asked to help with the Stake Christmas concert but asked if I could be excused so we could go to dinner in Lehi because Dan was in town. Here's Mike all ready to chat with his brothers. NOT. Boys and their phones!
The kids love love love Uncle Dan! Miss Lexi fell when playing outside and decided her scratch needed a bright blue bandaid. She even tossed aside her cousins for the cousin table at dinner to sit by Uncle Dan. We miss him and wish he lived closer and were glad he was able to spend the day with us!
Here's 3 of Mike's 4 brothers. Sean lives in MD, they'll be coming to Utah in July and we can't wait!
Lexi was talking and suddenly went into eyes crossed mode! One of her pig tails has fallen out, she has ribs on her face, a blue bandaid on her nose and her eyes crossed! LOVE this girl and the laughter and love she brings to our family.
After dinner, they got in a quick round of Ticket to Ride!
These cute cousins are always entertaining. They were bringing us food to eat. Plastic food that is.
Monday night, Lexi let Dad pull out her 2nd tooth. This one was more stuck then the first and she cried some. BUT she still let Dad pull a 2nd time and out it came. Toothless wonder! No gaps on top just another child needing braces! I'm saving already.
At the Vivant Center formerly the Delta Center, the Miller's were holding a Christmas sing a long. The Governor of Utah asked everyone to stay off the roads because of the winter storm lake effect that would be coming, so we rode trax. It was so much fun. A little longer than driving but safer and always fun!
We walked in and were given a donut treat to enjoy while we sang and a goodie bag full of free tickets to upcoming Jazz games, Bees games and the movies! Concessions were also 1/2 off. Oh the event was free also. They had a sympony and the words to all the songs were in a program on on the jumbo tron. BUT also on the jumbo tron were people getting photographed from camera men. SO the kids wanted to get on the jumbo tron and that they did, a 1/2 dozen times! It was so much fun. Loved singing, loved having cousins join us, loved the spirit we felt even in the Vivant Center. Love this time of year.
And it's always a challenge getting a group photo!
After the sing a long, we walked to Temple Square. It was empty. We walked right up to the Nativity and got a front row seat. So much snow, the sheep were all covered. BUT the spirit was still strong and the snow made it magical!
We walked quickly around the Temple and then headed home. Bill and Steph braved the roads because they were sure when we'd be home and the front runner only left at certain times. We all prayed they'd be safe and arrive home safely. Which they did. We snapped a couple more photos and are glad to have been able to come up for the night. A new tradition. We loved it!
I've started helping or working or filing or doing paperwork at Price Doors on Wednesday. Lilly and I love going to work! Apparently Wednesday is also Costco day in addition to donut day. Grandma Price has always brought donuts in on Wednesdays. Lilly and I love our new working Wednesdays! Beckett was also at work on Wednesday. Grandpa had two 3 year olds by the hand as we went into the store. We love sample days!
Here's Lexi's recital at Taylorsville High last night
