What a week

We started school, well one of us made it the first day. Poor Maddy and Jack caught hand foot and mouth although they just had bad sore throats and fevers no blisters. Could have been worse. Lexi missed the awesome-ness. Yay for 1! But by the weekend we were ready to roll for basketball. Not sure why I didn't get any photos of Jack playing not that these are great photos anyway. We spend our Saturday's (and Tuesday and Thursday evenings) court side. Love the huddle and bustle and energy these kids have.

Great Grandma Loveridge recently celebrated 90 years. We had a big birthday party for her ( i didn't take a single picture). Mike worked all night literally til 4 am on a video for Grandma honoring her in pictures. It had so many memories and also missing a lot but was fun to look at her through the years. We are so grateful she is around for our children and that we get to see her often.

These are some of the many pictures Mike gathered with our kiddos in them.

Second Sunday in January was stake conference so Lilly's first day as a sunbeam was the 3rd Sunday in January. She was so excited. Didn't care to not go the nursery. She has the cutest teachers and like the smallest class ever.
After sunbeams she ran into relief society to find mom and yelled "I am a child of God" what a doll. Love her.

The kids have been building in their spare time.
Unfortunately the family is melting. But snows expected this weekend. We'll see the last two storms have left only a dusting. Hoping for more snow. It would make a fun off track adventure.

What a week: when kids are off track I tend to run ragged and am always going 100 miles a minute wearing us all out! But that's how we roll.

Recap of the week.
Monday. Martin Luther King day. We went to the Grizzlies game with the Tullis', Mike took a long lunch and meet us there also. Ryan and Jack watched every play. The little girls ate their treat bag I made in like 5 minutes. It was supposed to last the whole game!
During a time out they dropped money from the rafters. Abby got one and the guys behind Lexi gave them there's. Jack got a free drink. To be honest no one watched the game in that time we were all looking up!
That night for fhe we set goals inspired by Camille and talked about having more serious lessons (as Lilly was jumping up and down on the couch:). I taught the lesson and used the picture of Jesus calming the waters and compared us to not having faith and being fearful. We sang Master the tempest is Raging.

Tuesday can't remember today must have been epic! 😉 oh yay new sealants for the kids molars and Costco run. Not much.

Wednesday we worked. It was a long day and the kids were super about being gone all day. It helped that grandma and grandpa took them to costco for lunch and they had the vending machine opened several times to get their sugar fix.

We used our free calendar for dinner and went to chick a fila after ballet while dad was at scouts. Every month we get one freebie this month it was grilled chicken. Not the kids fav. It's like healthy nuggets. Icecream after made up for the healthy part.

Thursday we headed to fashion place mall I use the remainder of our American girl doll gift cards before the store closes next week and return something. The girls love this store. We were hoping it would stay. Maddy got a dog bed for Piper her Dalmatian pup and Lexi for a snorkeling swim set for Olivia her new doll. We played at the Lego store and then headed home for lunch. lexi and Jack played afternoon away - Maddy is missing her Alli who is not off track with us.

Friday we headed to Murray Pool and stayed from 11-4:45.
Lots and lots of friends for mom and kids were there. This one got a little brave (in her life jacket) and left momma's side. When she was climbing out of the pool she searched her leg from her ankle all the way to her swim suit. When going to get bandaid she said I wanna go home.
Later she got brave and went swimming again and had to be dragged out of the pool. Poor little leg super scratched up those cuts hurt the worse too!

We watched Hook and ate popcorn while Dad braved the cold at Klondike!

Saturday we had a birthday party and two basketball games at 11:30, 12&1. With help of friends and grandma and grandpa I saw the kids playing and of course Lilly came along for the ride. Mike even had a good time at Klondike and has a great group of boys. This was his 4th Klondike.
