6th birthday Butterfly birthday
And 7th birthday Ballerina Birthday!
Her birthday fell on Sunday, fast Sunday where cousin Ivy was being blessed. So in honor of two pretty ladies, I made cupcakes in the shape of a dress. Can you see the dress?? Lol. look harder. After church, we had lunch and sang Happy Birthday to Lexi (and Luke). Lexi was all over baby Ivy and loved holding her. Ivy's dress was amazing, hand made by her Grandmother Allen.
This is Lexi and BFCousin Karsyn.
See that dress!
Lexi was lucky enough to get to open several presents at the blessing/ party.
Have you noticed her new glasses? When we went to the eye doctor in January, she was mad that the Dr told her she had great vision and DIDN'T need glasses. She wanted them. When she stayed at Aunt Stephanie's over Thanksgiving, she wore Karsyn's glasses all weekend. So Stephanie's present was perfect and even matched her new birthday outfit!
Here's singing to her at Tonya's house.

Karsyn and Lexi--6 months apart and tied to the hip!!
We went home and Lexi begged to open her gifts. We had dinner with Chad and Anna and then more cake and icecream. She was so excited to get Rollerblades, a scuba dive flipper set, stationary set, Legos, new glasses, playdoh, clothes, and some money just to name a few!
Happy Birthday Sweet Lexi! Seven is a hard age for me to grasp onto, so young and yet they want to be grown up and responsible but yet still a kid and learning. Lexi is starting to tell little white lies, although she is a terrible lier and gets caught easy. Hoping we step on this bad habit fast! She loves school and loves to play. She is always happy. She wakes up with a smile on her face. She loves Jack. Who doesn't! Lilly is starting to annoy her, I have to remind Lexi that SHE told Mom that there was another baby in heaven and needed to come to earth so be nice to her! She loves to follow Maddy and act grown up, play school and AG dolls. Some of my other favorite things about Lexi. Her Favorite color is yellow. Her Favorite friend. She couldn't decided so we narrowed it down to at school Peyton and at home Layla, Abby. Her favorite food is mac n cheese, mini corn dogs, Favorite movie is Zootopia, and her favorite gift was shopkins!
A week later we had her friend birthday party. I tried to talk her out of a party but she insisted it was her friend year (every other year is family). I said okay, because it is so fun having birthdays when you are young you might as well celebrate because soon enough they are not so fun anymore!
We had a ballerina birthday party.
The tricky part was only 10 girls could come. She had the hardest time deciding if this was going to be a neighborhood friend party, a friend party from school, a cousin party or all of the above. She mixed a little of both but was mostly friends from school.

We colored ballerina pictures, enjoyed a lite brunch, played musical chairs, dress up relays and then Cassidy our Ballerina Teacher came and entertained the girls, taught them a routine, danced around with them and then when the party was over the parents came to watch the performance and then the girls left. Funnest and simplest party ever!
We played musical chairs where no one got out even though you removed a chair. Here are all the girls piled up on 2 chairs.
And then piled up on one chair!
The dress up relay, they had to put on crown, 2 tutu's, shoes and run!
And then the group. A couple didn't show. Lilly was so excited to be part of the party!
And then gifts and cup cakes.
yep a 2nd cupcake cake! I froze the cupcakes just had to re frost them. Tricky part was my tip for frosting went down the disposal and got shredded so I had to be creative!
Here's Cassidy and the girls. She did a fabulous job and it made this party so simple!! Seriously, I was outside talking and working and cleaning the garage. She did all the work and for $10. The girls loved her too. She taught them dances, the steps and the routine. She did such a great job. Thanks Cassidy!
Here is the girls dance.
Lexi's growth at her well check! Height 48,9 inc 65% weight 52 pounds 57% and BMI 15.4 47% I remember at her well check when she was 3 years old the dr told me to limit Lexi's dairy and fat intake because her BMI was 96%. Not now she is a tall slender beautiful girl!
