School

End of school year, means lots of programs, lots of awards, lots of hard work paying off for all year long. I wasn't able to attend the 5th grade Red White and Blue Patriotic Program, a friend sent me this photo. She has made some good friends in her class this year. So excited to have these girls in her life!
Soon after was 4th Grade This is The Place program. Ryan and Jack have been in the same class 3 years in Elementary, they are great friends also and have the cutest giggles when they get each other going. So grateful for Jack's friends also.
Lexi had a field trip to the Aquarium, see behind her a shark! There were just 2 kids in my group, Lexi and Lila, Helped me not loose anyone! After the aquarium, the kids got to go to Texas Roadhouse, make rolls, have a tour of the building and eat a free lunch! It was yummy but the longest day for me! 1st graders have lots of energy!

Another field trip this time one highly anticipated all year long was Junior Achievement City aka Biz Towne. The kids have been working on applying for jobs, being hired or in the Mayor's case voted in, and then they learned their jobs, learned how to balance a checkbook. When they arrived they were all dressed so nicely. Skirts for the girls and nice clothes for the boys-even some suits! They were ready to hit the business world. Each child had a job, earned money based on their position and had a place in the city to work. I volunteered at Zion's Bank and had children coming and going getting their pay checks cashed and getting money and bills paid. Maddy was a CEO for United Way, here she is giving a speech.
I wanted to take pictures of the cute city but didn't have time. The bank was so busy! I barely had time to eat a sandwich at the Maverick and use the restroom. Such a fun field trip, glad I was able to go. Even the hour meeting before was okay and worth it. I did have to leave early, because Jack had a 2 o'clock game and I had his bag in the back of the van! But I made it at 1:59!
And don't think Lilly hasn't had her share of fun this school year, while Mom goes to work, she got used to staying home with Dad and working. She really likes to go to work only on Wednesday's because Great Grandma Price brings donuts that day, has for years and years! But sometimes, she goes to play with cousins while I'm at work. She spent the day with Blakelee and another with Ashlyn. And keeps asking when she can go back, work on Wednesday cousin Beckett came and made her have another great day. Oh to be 4 again and have so many cousins her age.

Love the end of the year. Nothing buy fun stuff! Are you working full time? I am thinking about going back full time in the fall. How has that transition been?
