Lagoon

No down time for summer, we only have 25 days to be exact. We are switching tracks for teacher reasons and are glad to be on A track next year, but with that comes 3 weeks off. We go til September and then have a 4 week break so this is it! BUT honestly, i'm happy about it. I am working 3 days a week and wasn't sure how much fun we were going to be able to have and have had lots and worked working into the summer vacation. Maddy is already ready to go back to school. Lexi is also. Jack would love to go back if he could take his kindle and slither.io game with him. Can you say obsessed???

Anyhow, we did something different for the 4th. We went to Lagoon! It was kindof fun, not sure if it will be our new tradition but we did have a great time. It was hot, we enjoyed the rattlesnack rapid ride to cool off, enjoyed picnic lunch, played with cousins and had a great time. Party didn't stop til the park closed, we then drove home and got to see LOTS of fireworks.

Bridit loves to go this day because the crowds are gone and you can walk right onto rides. Mike and the kids did have to wait for 45 minutes to ride cannibal the new ride but then rode it 3 or 4 more times throughout the night without a long wait time. Lilly and I spent the morning together. She loved the rides, had no fears and loved having Mom her sidekick right by her side! I did about loose my cookies on the dragon ride, it goes forward in circles and then backwards. Aunt Linda and I were a little sick after words! Brigit did take a Dramamine and said she didn't get that sick feeling, next time!

 The kiddie land is better then I remember it as a kid. In fact, a lot has changed at Lagoon since I worked her 21 years ago. Lagoon a Beach my old stomping ground looked the same but Lagoon has gotten a face lift and has lots and lots of rides. Lilly loved every minute of it! And no lines in kiddie land.

 Gavin, Elsa and Lilly made quite the trio and went from ride to ride with a buddy.

 These 3 made another trio. Mike and Gary and Maddy also included for all the big kid rides.

 One of my all time fav rides is the log fume. I was sad I never got to do the white roller coaster, which isn't' white anymore its brown now with new wood. I wonder if the sheep are still under the ride??

 I did this with Lilly also, not a good idea. I didn't' want dinner. In fact we were so busy and so hot we really weren't' hungry for dinner. We ate the left over food in the car on the way home. Best day! Best company and  loved seeing the red white and blue.
