Back 2 School 2016

It's that time of year again, although, we've been at school for 1 month now. We are pro's! But just realized I didn't ever post our going back to school. It's not often (and hopefully never happens again) that you end one year of school and start another year of school in the same month! Yikes! That was us. But switching tracks has been great and we are happy and have awesome teachers and are so glad our friends are all on the same track. All our ward is on A, 6 families. Everyone else is here and there. Can't believe how many different schools go to elementary schools, but then again it is the same for JR High and High School also. But it'll be nice when breaks come to have someone to hang with.

I ordered him some new shirts and wouldn't you know it they didn't arrive on time, but he's so chill he said that's okay mom and wore one from last year. He however does have a ton of shirts but it's always fun to start the first day with new clothes. (at least I think it is)!!

 Oh good, I got one with his eyes open! Love this kid.

 Madison Brooke, so excited for 6th grade. She will be on student council and loves to learn. She helps everyone in her class, helps her teacher and is the best!

 Miss Alexis, told the teacher that she wanted to be called that. 1/2 her friends call her Alexis the other 1/2 Alexis. She doesn't listen when I call her either name, she has decided her new name should be pineapple because it's her favorite fruit. Although, she doesn't answer to pineapple either. She's the sweetest, gives the best hugs and kisses (to just about anyone--working on that with her), has no personal boundary space problems. and looks like she's missing teeth on the top and bottom but not! Love her gappy smile, freckled nose and has the prettiest baby blues around.

First Day of Preschool

Didn't really want to wear this outfit, doesn't ever want to wear what I choose for her to wear, but I talked her into wearing this outfit just for me just one day. Doesn't like her hair in piggy tails even tho it's Mom's fav and an easy hair style, loves watermelon, loves donut day at work, loves to count, can write her name, recognize numbers and working on letters. Loves, loves, loves preschool and Mom! 

This was Emma's, Maddy wore it the first day of preschool, Lexi probably also and that's why I really wanted Lilly to wear it. Cute sisters! Silly Momma or a Momma that has a good memory! 

After school, Jen snapped some of these pictures of the kids, because you know the first day is so overwhelming and life gets in the way.

And then Miss Lilly, she officially started on August 8. She was so excited but wondered why everyone kept saying she started school again. She said, I've been there before. I reminded her it was summer vacation so she had a break. She said oh yeah.

Cousin Peyton got in the other A track class, so far it's okay they see each other at recess and lunch.

And poor thing woke up early (while I was out running--Mike got clean up duty) and had the stomach bug and had to miss her 2nd day of school. Rotten way to start the week. Knock on wood but only Jack and Lexi got sick! (Jack was sick the day before we started school).  It was a weird one, after the pukes came coughs, we all had a cough in July.
