I am not sure where I got this "crazy" idea for FHE, but it was on someone's blog. Maddy loves FHE and wants to have it every night. She understands we usually have it after church on Sunday and kept asking for it after church. I told her we would have it on Monday and it would be a big surprise and one she would never forget. She loved the previous week when we introduced the game "Sorry" to her. So this week had to be bigger and better. Pictures explain everything. BUT how am I going to top this one?

We took Jack's crib mattress and set it up at the top of the stairs. Boy was it a work-out taking it up and down the stairs. The trick was to hold on to the mattress so you didn't slide down without out it. Jack didn't really care for the activity which is very uncharacteristic for him since he is usually the one who tries something first and then Maddy follows. Maddy had a blast and kept saying again, again! Mike was a little worried about my idea but we all had a great time "sliding down the stairs!" Can't wait 'til it snows and we'll try it outside.

So funny. Maddy looks like she was having a blast!! I wish we had stairs so we could do it. Maybe when my kiddos are older when we have a house with stairs we will do it. I wonder if teenagers would like it??? Oh, and i think you may have seen it on Mikelle's blog.:D
Well aren't you just the funnest, most spontanious mom in the universe! What a great idea. I'm not introducing my kids to you 'cause I'm sure they'll want to come live with you. Hey maybe that's not such a bad idea after all:)
You are the coolest parents in the whole world!!! That is hilarious!!!!
