One of the nicest things about living away from our family is being able to jump in the car and 5 hours later be in Utah. So 3 weeks later, we were back! I had to take Mike to the airport on Monday morning at 6:30 am so I decided to just head on down to Utah. The weather didn't agree and we drove through snow and more snow as we hit one of the worst snow storms of the season but the kids were very good and we made it safely. Mike however, got bumped and we made it to Utah before he even left the Boise airport (6 1/2 hours later). He finally arrived at his destination Minneapolis at 9pm after detouring to Denver, Omaha and then to Minneapolis. I would much rather drive in snow then wait at the airport all day. While we were in town we didn't really do much. We visited Grama Maggie & cousin Jenny who we didn't get to see over Christmas and then headed down to Lehi when Mike got into town on Thursday and then the wedding festivities over the weekend. And back we are in Boise and remarkably not sick!! Here are some pictures of the week. Sorry for my family, I stole most of the pictures from the family website.
My sister in law Linzy was also in town but heading back to Texas shortly after we arrived. So we all meet at Village Inn for breakfast and said goodbye there. Jack & Jake cousins who are 4 months apart and it is not easy to get both of them to look at the camera for a picture.
But Jake was giving hugs anyways.

Well no one is looking at the camera but here is us at breakfast. Brian, Tonya, Kinzee, Jack, Maddy, Linzy, Jake
Then off to a bridal shower for Anna at Grama Price's.Anna (the bride) & Grama Maggie
Anna's sisters; Kristen and Calley and mom Kathy

I didn't get any pictures of the wedding but will get some from Chad when he gets back from Cancun. The trip was fun and the drive home was very relaxting esp cuz Mike drove! It seems the kids pick up new things while we are away and this trip Jack figured out how to escape the play n pack and now he has figured out how to escape his crib. Today he has been climbing in and out thinking he is so cleaver. He is only 21 months and I am not ready to give him more freedom. So we are looking for a crib tent to lock him in for a while longer! If i could, he would be in a crib til he was out of the house.

When Mike was in Utah we had dinner at Bill & Stephanie's house. After dinner the three kiddos had a bath together. Here are they all clean and ready for bed in their jammies.

Don't throw away those milk boxes they provide hours of entertainment!

Such cute stuff Makinzee. Let's have a craft night! Oh, and I think Emma had a crib tent for Isaac. You might want to check with her. Take care! Megan
Looks like fun! Glad you could live close enough to drive home for a little bit. Even if it was through the snow! ;) Glad you were safe though! Congrats to Chad on gettin' hitched!
Looks like a fun time. I'm glad you were there safe. Ditto on checking with Emma, I'm pretty sure she had one. Jack is getting so big!
Looks like you had a fun little get-away!!
It was scary piercing bells ears. I did it at 3 months (the earlies you can get them done) She did really well. She didn't like being strapped down so she couldn't move, but once it was over, gave her a bottle and she was perfectly fine. Im so glad I did it (it was hard, trust me. I felt so bad) but the are adorable on her. You should totally get Maddy's done. You'll love it. Just take her to get ice cream afterwards. :0)
