My friend Angela & I went to Edwards nursery today to get some grapes. It was so fun and there was so much to awe over and dream about and want to do. When it was time to go home, we realized we had been there for 2 hours and she was late picking up her son from preschool. Sorry, Brett for picking you up so late! Here are some of my things to do and things checked off over the past week!
Things to Do
Plant Raspberries
Plant Grapes
Plant seed potatoes
Plant onions
Make trellis for Raspberries
Make trellis for Grapes
Start Maddy's nightgown--harder then I thought it would be
Learn about etiquette for Mother & Daughter etiquette dinner next week
Return library books that are overdue!
Enrichment on Thursday-Dutch oven cooking. YUM
Dinner--what to cook tonight
Get another Mr Clean Magic Eraser to keep erasing off the scuff marks on my base boards from my old vacuum
Things done and checked off
Fix the tear in the linoleum that Jack keeps helping get bigger
Put a high lock on the front door so Maddy won't let the FedEx man in with a box while mom is in the backyard working
Scrapbooked kids pics of bubbles and water guns
Started a new book The Summons
Sew another skirt for Maddy
Base boards cleaned in bedrooms and most of family room
For the record, finger nail polish doesn't really work getting polish off the carpet. I dumped probably a bottle on it. My friend Angie had this stuff called "Krud Kutter" you get from Home Depot that took permanent marker off her kitchen table, but it didn't work so well on my floor probably because I had used so much polish remover. NEXT time, you need something try that. Oh and another scratch on the car, this time by Maddy. I was unloading the plants today and she shut the garage door on the trunk. Ya, never a good idea to buy a new car and not expect it to get "broken in". Maddy is also convinced we need a new home because ours is breaking down and it is too big to throw away in the garbage!
