Cornbelly's

Last night we told the kids we would be going to Cornbelly's tomorrow at Thanksgiving Point. Cornbelly's? What's that? They didn't remember what Cornbelly's was. Well, Mike and I really don't know either except for pictures taken 2 years ago when Maddy and Jack visited Grandma and Grandpa Loveridge while mom and dad were cruising in the Mexican Riviera. Sigh, it's been 2 years. Not sure if the pictures made them remember but it did make them very excited. We are especially excited because we bought "season passes" (for the whole month of October that Cornbelly's runs:) and so did our favorite cousins Kamryn and Karsyn, with whom we will be spending lots of time with this next month!!

Here are some of the highlights of the day! BTW, it was 80'+ and October. My oh my was it hot! We even came home with sunburns. Next week a cool down is coming, I think we'll be wishing we still had warmer weather!

First up for the activities was a giant slide!
And places everywhere to take your picture.
Little Lex, wanted a picture taken too!

And a giant pumpkin tree.

A room full of corn kernels is like a sandbox with endless possibilities. It's amazing how dirty a child can get after playing in a box full of cornbelly's!

Lexi did taste a couple, I guess it didn't satisfy her because she stopped eating them, instead she threw them up in the air. When I changed her diaper, she had at least 10 kernels in it. Now that would not be comfortable to sit on all day.

Lexi loved the small hay bale maze.

And the tunnel maze with hay bales to climb on.

Bicycle powered go carts. Mike took all the kids on a ride and then raced with his brother Bill and announced his legs hurt after the racing.

Maddy did a couple laps herself.

Jack preferred to ride with dad instead of peddling his own way around the course.

But when Grandma asked the kids what their favorite part of the day at Cornbelly's was, they all responded the duck races.

You pump the water and the ducks race to the opposite side, where another pump is so the ducks can race back to the other end.

Lexi loved watching the ducks race. She wasn't tall enough to reach the water pump, but that didn't stop here from having fun!

Maddy took over double pumps!
Jack and Kamryn loved to put all the ducks in a row and send them all down racing.

What a fun day, huh. We didn't even get to all of the activities. Good thing we have a season pass and family that live close, I think we'll be spending lots and lots of time this fall at Cornbelly's!

Hope we get some time to go with you one of these days! Though my guess is you got the best weather day yesterday. It was perfect. Look at Jack in his sleeveless top even! I love the smiles. Brings back fun memories from when we took them while you were gone.

What a fun little place. I didn't even know they did that at Thanksgiving Point. I guess my kids were too young when I moved to know about kids events. It looks like you guys are having a great time being back in Utah. How fun to be able to play with cousins.

That looks a lot like the place we like to go to in Pleasant Grove. I bet the kids loved it. How were the crowds? Hopefully not too bad. Enjoy your month of fun!
