Sometimes, we just need to stop and smell the flowers. Lexi and I planted these daffodils and tulips last fall. The daffodils are just starting to bloom. Is spring really here? I hope so. This weekend was beautiful. We got lots of things done.
Maddy went to the dentist Saturday morning and had sealants put on her 6 year molars (that she got when she was 7). She has been studying teeth at school and could probably tell me what they are really called. She also had a chipped tooth that chipped in Boise that needed a seal put on it so it wouldn't turn into a cavity. She was so brave and 2 hours later was on her way home. We tried to get the same chipped tooth fixed a year ago with no luck, just lots of tears. Guess time and maybe having Dad holding your hand helped.
We bought our spring veggies and somehow I managed to plant them! I had help for a little bit and then the kids and the neighbors got bored and left. Lexi helped me with the last row and by then I was done and needed to go sit down. Totally over did and didn't sleep well that night. Oh well, garden's in!! Planted: spinach, lettuce, onions, chives, broccoli, romaine, red & yukon potatoes, yellow onions, beets, sugar snap peas and peas. Carrots will have to wait til after the baby.
Here is my spinach sprouting. I planted this 2 weeks ago and can't wait to have spinach salad and green smoothies. I've been making tons of green smoothies!
Mike was a busy carpenter and built shelves in the little girls room this weekend, he also added a 2nd rod to hang clothes on. Their dresser is already packed and so is the closet. We don't have very many carpentry tools and he rigged a great saw table out in the garage out of boxes. Guess I need to let him get more "tools" so I can get more too. It'll be a win-win right!
When he told me to come and see what progress he had made, I had for seen the shelves on the other side of the closet. BUT too late. Now I love the shelves on that side. He had the vision all along. Now if only we had communicated on the towel rack he hung in the bathroom:)
Winter is back today. Rain, snow and cold. BUT the warm weather is headed back this weekend just in time for General Conference and for the baby. EEEEEKKKK!!

I haven't even thought about our garden yet, I guess it's time to get working on it!
I am sending you an e-mail about the shelves.
Take it easy this week!
Cold weather is back here too but outdoor weather in March was a real treat. Super cute pics of Lexi with the dafodils. Thinking of you this week and keeping you in our prayers!
Everything looks beautiful! The flowers, the shelves, the garden. Wow. You are busy. I hope you take some time for yourself, to relax and maybe SLEEP before the baby comes! :)
Yay for shelves, planting your garden.. and darling children that help! Now.. relax! Enjoy the days before busy-ness with #4!
Glad I looked at this again. I left a comment yesterday - at least I thought I did. Where did it go????
The daffodils and the yellow bow? Yeah, perfect! Love the pictures. I did have daffodils until I got home from work Monday. Where did they all go? Now I'm waiting for more to bloom. We'll see if they all get picked, too. We have adorable little neighbors - seriously. They really are. But they are little. And children are so cute about picking neighbor's flowers.
Hurray for your garden! I am so impressed. I totally agree with Coco - time to rest super woman. Time to rest!
