Taylor Swift

Maddy's big present was Taylor Swift tickets! Which happened to be 4 days after her birthday. She opened up the t-shirt and in it were 2 tickets to see the show. I knew I was going but lucky for me she asked if I was going also. Grandma Julie really wanted to go. Next time, it was so hard to get tickets. We were lucky we got what we did.

They went on sale last December. Mike, Jen and I were all online and trying to get 4 tickets by each other. We did not succeed and ended up getting 3 sets of 2 tickets in the nose bleeds and then I got 2 lower bowl tickets. So we ended up not having tickets by our friends which was a bummer but our seats were great!

Before the show we went to dinner at Cafe Zupas. YUM! And then headed to the show. Love these posters all over the ESA.

Then we went outside to get a picture by her semi's. Like a dozen of theme!! The security guy was nice and let us in and then got in trouble for it. Oops!

We went in and saw the opening act. Vance Joy. He sings one song that we recognized. Riptide

And then the set up the stage for Taylor! And did she perform. 11 costume changes. Dancing, choreography, lights, video's, songs, guitars, and so much fun!

Her stage came out and raised and turned.

Everyone in attendance wore a bracelet that glowed and lite up in unison. It was so fun to see the stands glowing.

We paid $5 to park, got my water taken away, but had some treats to eat. Maddy drank way to much at Zupas and pee'd 6 times! But luckily it was during Vance Jay and we were able to enjoy the show! It was amazing. Couldn't stop smiling. Happy Birthday Maddy!

Oh and when we bought tickets somehow we got 3 tickets upper bowl. Mike wanted to go but then decided he didn't want to go. Makenna bought the ticket from us and sat with Jen and Alli. Jen's sisters friend got to go down and sit front row for 3 songs. Looks like upper bowl sometimes pays off!

I also cried, and laughed but had a great night. It was an emotional week. More to come.
