Innocent or Guilty???

What do you do with a boy who is so curious and innocent and into so much trouble. This has been a week full of excitement for me. Last Friday, I was going to brush up on my hair cutting skills after watching Candice teach a bunch of us how to cut boys hair. For some reason, Jack thought that meant run upstairs and put mom's lipstick on. Here he is very proud of himself. The hair cut I'll admit was my best. Thanks Candice for teaching us mom rookies how to cut hair. BTW this is a before hair cut pix.
So the next day, he gets the soap from the bathroom and puts it all over my coffee table including the floor. Soap, the next day, on the back of the toilet including his hands. Lipstick the following day in my closet while trying to open every tube in the bag, including my base and powder which luckily didn't get everywhere except my bed spread. He came to me very innocently on Tuesday and said "lips." He couldn't get the lipgloss lid closed. The next day more soap I can't even remember where. So now we are to Wednesday and he knows no more soap because it is not in the bathroom and the lipstick is now on top of the counter (although he has proven he can climb up there). So Wednesday, he finds the crayons that Maddy left on the kitchen table by the paper and took them once again to my coffee table and colored all over. Luckily elbow grease took it off. I can't remember what Thursday and Friday brought but today the whole roll of brand new toilet paper was in the toilet. What's next? He has gotten very good at saying "sorry mom." My #1 child never got into this much trouble.

Definitely related to his twin uncles!

We'll take him off your hands for a bit. I'm sure it's about time for those kids to come hang out with Aunt Tonya and Uncle Brian :)

oh no! Wow, that kiddo keeps busy! Lucky for him his mommy is so nice. Your title for this post is perfect. I love his lipstick application. Hang in there!!

It seems that we are dealing with the same species here. Grace tirelessly and just as innocently (or guiltily) gets into the same kind of mischief. I've come to the realization that my first set of furniture will not be my last. Nor my carpet. :0) Hang in there!

Welcome to boys, although after reading Tennille's post, maybe not. :) He is a cute little guy, though, I'm sure sure that shade of lipstick does him justice!

Oh crap! Is this what I am in for in a few months? That is brutal!

Wow, Jack sure keeps you on your toes! Someone made the comment to me that you can't wait for your kids to start walking and talking and then you wish they would sit still and be quiet. If only for a moment for you to catch up to clean up after them!
