Ok, we'll it's not really breakfast at Tiffany's but it sounded good. Our great friends from Boise, the Cardwells were in town for Thanksgiving and we were lucky enough to squeeze some family time away from them and go to Village Inn for breakfast.
Do you have those friends that you almost hate telling you are going to move because you know you are going to miss them so much? We left so many great friends back in Boise, it's fun to keep in contact on FB and Blogs but when you see them you remember how much you really miss them. The Cardwells are one of those friends we miss so much.
I remember the first time I met Angie, I introduced myself in RS and Angie asked where I lived. She lived on the street behind me, at the time she had 2 boys and I was expecting Maddy. We became instant friends. They too grew up in Utah and spent their summer vacations in Utah visiting family. Over the 6 years we lived in the Boise, we swapped dinners, had late game nights, early morning temple trips, carpools and just chatting on the phone for hours at a time. We enjoyed many outings together and celebrated holidays like Easter and Christmas Eve and camping over the 4th of July. Dean and Mike have been great friends too--infact Dean called Mike as one of his counselers in the EQ. We all enjoyed watching football together, playing games together, Angie has given each of us at least one hair cut and its great always having a go to friend to watch your kids when you need someone. Their kids are great too. We miss those 4 boys and can't believe how much they have already grown in 11 short months. We joke that Maddy is going to marry one of them. We'd take any of them as son in laws.

And cute Camden by the Village Inn tree.They were in town for Thanksgiving and a funeral and we were able to sneak them away from their family (which is very hard to do with out of state friends) and go to breakfast. We met at Village Inn and enjoyed a good breakfast with lots of talking and laughter and great memories and a couple pictures.
Dayten took a picture of the 4 of us after breakfast, it was so great to see old friends again. We hope to be able to meet 1/2 way between Salt Lake and Boise and do a camping trip this summer.
