Believe it or not, getting makeup on Maddy is a difficult tast that involves threats and almost holding down. She is so afraid of anything getting into her eyes she cries and all the makeup comes off. We made it however!

After school starts, Maddy is so excited to start Ballet/Jazz with her friend Alli. I'm super excited about having a carpool mom and taking Ballet. Grama Brooke will be with you in spirit because you sure didn't get any dance talent from me!

Lexi is such a cutie, I bet you all had the best time at her recital! I love her leg warmers! Nice she can do a back walk over!! And that is funny about the makeup!
I'm so grateful you live close enough now that we can be part of your lives again! The recital was great. Somehow I was thinking the girl in the middle was Maddy, but you're right. She looks different upside down! She's doing a great job with dance - you'd think she had it in her genes, and I definitely know which side she gets that from because it for sure isn't our side!!! Bet your mom's beaming with pride!
I love it! My grandma was a dancer and I wish I had inherited the gift or that one of my girls would, but so far they are not really interested. Keep it up Maddy!

Sure glad I got to watch your dance review Maddy. You were soooo good! The only thing I could excel at was standing on my head! But that didn't require any real talent - only a hard head! Ha!
