Just like 7 years ago, I did my visiting teaching the end of the month. Guess that's what put me into labor. My water broke on the way to work. We turned around, Mike made me scrambled eggs which later came up during birth along with a root beer Popsicle. Maddy was born @ 4:36pm in Boise, Idaho. 10 days early. I wasn't ready for her, didn't have my bags packed or laundry washed let alone put away! BUT she made it all worth it. I love being a mom!

Birthday's it seems is all about the cake. I didn't know this about myself until Maddy's first birthday. Her first year birthday cake was a teddy bear. I remember, I found a mold at Tuesday Mornings. I think that was my first and last visit to the store. Cute store, just never been back.
1st birthday
2nd birthday obviously Elmo.
Maddy loved Elmo! Jack was about 4 months old when Maddy turned 2 and she must have watched a lot of ELMO because we have a lot of Elmo around the house.

3rd birthday-Octopus Cake
My sweet Aunt Jill is always thinking of me and birthdays (maybe I got the cake obsession from her:), she sent me this octopus pan. Hard to see it but it's darling if anyone ever needs a mold I still have it!
4th birthday-Barbie Cake. This one I didn't decorate and mine would have been disastrous. I do remember I forgot to add oil to the cake mix and it turned out just fine (just so you know).

5th Birthday-Castle Cake. At the library we found a book and in it was Maddy's castle cake. Her dress came from Disneyland a week prior to her birthday.
6th birthday -Carnival. Kind of boring if you ask me but the gum balls were a huge hit!

I can't believe how much she and Lexi look alike in that 2nd birthday picture.
Happy Birthday Madison! Hope she's having a fun day celebrating at school.
Happy Birthday Maddy!!! I can't believe it's been 7 years. Wow.
So fun to be with you tonight. The rainbow cupcakes were so yummy. The funnest had to be just being with everyone to celebrate this seventh year! We really do adore you, Maddy! Happy Birthday, again.
Wow, those cakes are awesome! I've never made anything but a regular rectangle cake. Haha. Happy Birthday Maddy! She's so cute and so big. By the way, thanks for the tip... maybe I'll go visiting teaching today, unannounced and uninvited... maybe it will work for me too? Haha.
