I must not be the only one who loves autumn because their are fall activities everywhere to participate in. Bill & Stephanie treated us to a day at Cornbellys with them. Mike was busy at home working on Reflections entries for Maddy and Lilly needed a nap so the 3 older kids and I went to Thanksgiving Point to check out Cornbelly's. Bill was working SWAT, Stephanie and their girls arrived later along with Mike and Lilly.
The LINE was super long but we didn't have any where else to be so we patiently waited to get in. The weather was cool but nice if you were in the sun and cold if you were in the shade, luckily there is plenty to see and do so we kept busy and warm.
Most of the stuff is the same but we love it anyway!
Giant potato sack slide
Rat maze. It's a big box that you go thru tunnels to get eventually to the end. I am way to claustrophobic to do this one. But the kids loved it!
Duck Races
(BTW, her smile just melts my heart--she is genuinely like this always so loveable and cheery and helpful and LOVES anything and everything) She is doing awesome at preschool. We carpool with Martie although she prefers if I take her and pick her up from school. She is learning and has even figured out how to write Lexi instead of Alexis. She has a new friend too. So glad we made the switch.
OK he has a nice heart breaker smile also. I've recently noticed how "grown up" looking he's getting, he did tell me yesterday that he will always be my baby boy so I guess it's OK he's growing up. He came home with a tummy ache from school this week, that night I got an email from his teacher checking in on him. She said that he is SUCH a pleasure to have in class, he is so helpful , is such a hard worker and is always on task. She also said that he is "impossible NOT to like" It is true!
Maddy is a gem as well. She is very polite and always willing to help with Lilly or dinner or chores. She just got the leader in me award at school-more to come on that.
Also at Cornbelly's the Corn maze
It was a mini maze, guaranteed to finish in 5 minutes or less. The giant maze is at Cornbelly's also but we didn't do it this year.
This is a room full of corn kernels that you can dig in and play in. It is fun for all ages, I'm sure Lilly would have been in heaven here. They arrived just after we left the corn house.
We ventured over to the kiddie land not sure what it's really called. Lilly loved the slides.
And the Kettle Corn popcorn! Oh it smells so good, thanks for sharing Stephanie. It hit the spot!
Dress ups
Talking with Penelope Pumpkin Princess. Lexi was in heaven talking to her also after all she wants to be a princess when she grows up.
The store. Maddy, Jack and Kamryn love this place. They buy and sell market items. Lexi and Karsyn also love it too. Karysn & Ashlyn love the jump houses.
Cutouts are all of the place asking you to take a picture.
And a giant jumping pillow.
Look deep in this picture. You have Lexi, Kamryn, Maddy, Ashlyn, Bill and Stephanie great picture Mike!
Lilly loved the rocking horse. She could climb on and off and loved to do just that!
We left at 5 for pizza with Grandma Loveridge (thanks for dinner) and managed to get a decent cousin picture. Jack and all the girl cousins! We missed the boy cousins that live locally too.
Lilly, Maddy, Kamryn, Ashlyn, Karsyn, Lexi, Jack
After dinner I brought Grandma back with us (minus the 3 youngest) and we had a little cornbelly night time fun. It got cold especially after Grandma treated the kids to digging in the mine pit for fossils and gems. We enjoyed a spooky hay ride and a trip down the potato sack slide. And then we all got so cold we came back to Stephanie's to brownies. The men all went to the Priesthood session. It was a great day at Cornbelly's especially with cousins. We love living close to cousins! We came back to Lehi the next day to celebrate Julie's birthday. What a great weekend!

Those are some really great photos! I'll try to get mine posted from the evening, but the lighting was definitely an issue by then. It was just fun to go back with you. I wish we hadn't been up to our necks in home emergencies so we could have spent the entire day with you there.
Love the pic of Lex in the rat maze, although just the sound of that makes me claustrophobic too! Still haven't been to Cornbellys, looks like a cute place. Not a bad picture of all the cousins- it's hard to get that many kids to cooperate at the same time for sure!
