Nick & Tia's Wedding

Tia and Nick (my step-bro)got married Dec 21 in the Logan, Utah temple. We barely made the ceremony but it was beautiful and short and sweet. Tia and Nick just glowed! Oh to be a newlywed again!! This was the best of the best and only I took of the bride and groom, but they had an amazing photographer. To see her go to http://www.oakstreamphotography.com/.

We ate a yummy dinner at the Riverwoods Conference Center. Wow, no details spared. The decorations were stunning from the ribbons on the chairs to the center pieces and the fireplace with the N and T stockings hanging. The photographer was amazing and capturing every moment from the carriage rides to the fireworks. The reception had a yummy hot cocoa and hot cider with all the fixings: crushed peppermint, marshmallows, m&m's and whip cream. Don't forget the cookie bar and then fill a bag from the candy bowls. Another favorite was the photo booth. The kids took at least a dozen pictures and absolutely loved doing it with the props. To see more photos go to www.alleventsphotobooths.com/blog. These were some of my favorites.

And this little guy was a stinker when we had to go get fitted for the tuxes. His outfit of choice is sweats and wears them about 5 days a week when they are all dirty and he has to wear something else. Dressing up for church has always had its challenge.

I honestly bribed him that Santa would be sure to be told about him not dressing up and if he didn't coal would be in his stocking. He promised he would. And wow look at him!! He loved every minute of it. I need to go buy him a suit for church, I think he'll love it now!

Uncle Brody looked sharp too all dressed up! 20 tuxes in the group made for some handsome men!

And momma couldn't be prouder.

And look 5 smiles with no photo shopping!! What a cute bunch these are! Too bad we already did Christmas cards, this one for sure beat on the others!

Posing Maddy loved being dressed up with curly hair too.

And Uncle Chad wanted in on the posing too.

But they also wanted to do a little posing of their own without the kiddos.

And of course with my dad.

Chad, Brody and Steve
Did I mention Brody is single? And handsome as ever!

At the reception the band played all night. Here is Alex and the flower girls dancing.
Sophie, Chyna, Emma

Jack loves, loves, loves his Uncles! Here he is with Uncle Taylor who was dressed in a tux and top hat and cane!

Maddy dancing with the girls

And after the dancing, we all headed outside for sparklers and fireworks. Didn't realize I was taking pictures right in front of a tree.

The wedding planner had at least 20 sparklers in her hand that caught fire at once...her scream and the lights were a sight to see. She did an excellent job and even came to the rescue when Maddy's zipper broke. Out of her pocket, she had safety pins!! She had every detail planned and was so calm and everything was magical and wonderful.

And the bride and groom drove away in a horse and carriage to the Anniversary Inn. What a spectacular day! Congrats Nick and Tia!

Christmas pictures to come! Although, the camera with the pictures on it got left at Grandmother's house.

Great photos Makinzee! Wow! What a celebration! Sorry, it makes yours appear a little underdone, doesn't it? Even if they didn't have a tornado at theirs.

I love how good everyone looks in their tuxes. Were tuxes made for women? I know men hate wearing them, but they look so so so good in them!

Looks like quite a celebration! She's a beautiful bride. I wish I would've worn a form-fitting dress instead of the sa,e dress that every other mormon girl wears on their wedding day.
Jack is so handsome in his tux!
