Ugly Sweater Party & Beanboozled Game

December is always such a busy month. It seems your week feels up so fast with activities and party's and everything in between but as busy as it is, it is always a great month. We got invited to an Ugly Sweater Party at the Tullis'. What a riot it was. Mike did the shopping for us. We heard our local DI was out of great sweaters so he hit the Provo DI and found some dandy's. Here are the sweaters of those who attended.

BUT more the seeing the ugly sweaters you'll notice almost everyone has sour faces they are pulling. We played a game called Beanboozled. And you had a 50/50 chance of getting a good jelly belly or a yucky one. And I mean yucky ones!!! They are the same color but definitely different taste. I personally ate rotten eggs and then 2nd round got lucky enough to get banana instead of pencil shavings.

Mike wasn't too lucky. His first round he had the choice of peach or barf. Hmm, which do you think he got.

And 2nd round got black licorice or skunk. Hmm, which do you think he got?
Here are the Quinn's. Not so shabby sweaters. He's a Ute fan and this is his Ugly Sweater and Rachel went for the ugly Christmas sweater look.

The Brochinsky's playing the game. Can't remember what Clairesse ate but it wasn't good. Brandon is sporting a nice sweater huh!

And the Larsen's. Drew and Ali. Looks like she got a yummy one too:)

And poor Kami-guess she deserved it she bought the game--not sure what she got but it wasn't good either.

And Ryan after the game was over taste tested the rest to see what he missed out on. The next day we saw his wife Emily at Sweet Afton's at Gardner Village buying the same game. Lucky for those who we are buying presents for-- you get one too!

Kevin got barf too and he said it was in his teeth and still could taste it even after eating and drinking other things. Glad I missed out on that one!
BTW, we voted that Kevin one the sweater contest unofficially. We didn't really vote out loud but he wore a Christmas sweater with fur on the color and high heel shoes all Christmasy decorated. What a good sport he was for wearing that!

Thanks Ben & Kami for a great evening. PS Thanks also for the pictures too!

Definitely hope this becomes an annual tradition, I love this group of friends- it's so fun to have so many great people to hang out with! I will have to keep an eye out for a hideous sweater for next year.
