I've been thinking a lot about my goals and New Year's Resolutions but haven't officially written them down so here goes! I feel if you write down your goals it is easier to achieve them.
Exercise: While I won't be making it to yoga til after May I am walking on the treadmill 2-3 miles at least 3 or 4 times a week. After May, I'll beef up my work out routine some more. It's hard to waddle on the treadmill.
Read: I finished Jesus the Christ last year. Mike did too. Also finished the Book of Mormon. Our Relief Society has challenged us to read the BOM in 100 days. I should reach this goal should be reached by the time baby # 4 arrives. Still searching for that perfect name. We are also studying the BOM in Sunday School and I want to read the lessons and be prepared. Ensign! Need to read! Some is better than none. I love teaching YW's it really strengthens my testimony, I have been challenged to start my Personal Progress and achieve my medallion as an adult.
Scrapbooks/Genealogy: I just finished our family's 2011 Photo Book. I love paper scrap booking but find it is slowly moving it's way out the door and digital is the way to go. Baby # 4's scrapbooks will probably be digital. The other kids have a book or two or three. But they are so big and bulky compared to the small digital ones. Gotta get back on the bandwagon. I am mostly caught up but still have Florida/Disney world vacation to do and then Christmas.
LOVE: I've been thinking about this resolution a lot lately. It was brought up at church on New Year's Day. I want to show my husband that I love him. I am trying better at being a loving mom. I need to show them I love them. Love being close to family and want to spend more time with extended family.
Nurture: Kindof goes along with love but I also want to nurture my kids. Spend time reading with them, take them out on one on one dates, spend time with them individually and help them learn and grow.
Home: Make our home as if it were a temple. We've toyed with the idea of finishing the basement to have an extra room for the baby although I don't think Maddy would sleep downstairs alone. I have finally been organizing the basement. It was a place where everything just got thrown. I now have shelves and my food storage is organized and not just scattered on the floor. The holiday decorations are also organized. I'm slowly going through the bins of boy clothes and giving them away. Front yard got soil and tulips and daffodils but come spring time we'll have to do some more work!
Budget: Mike is clueless with the bills. I'm clueless about work. We need to work together more and have a better rainy day fund.
Temple: Get there more often even if it means waking up early and going before the family is awake.
Family Memories: Disney has become a family vacation and memory for us. I hope we can save up and take the kids again soon. We also look forward to making lasting memories not only at Disney. My parents gave us last minute tickets to South Pacific. We got a babysitter for Lexi and Jack and took Maddy with us. While it was probably over her head it was fun to have her experience the theatre (or movie as she called it). Her favorite song was "I'm gonna wash that man right out of my hair" I'll admit I have never seen the play and enjoyed it also.
Happy 2012!

Good resolutions!
Good goals! Maybe I should just cut and paste them. I also need to prep for Sunday School now that I finally go to class with the adults. I don't know why I remember to read my BofM but never manage to read the same thing the lesson is going to be on.
I love your resolutions! I'm excited about reading and studying the Book of Mormon this year too. If you ever want someone to go to the temple with in the early morning, let me know and I would love to meet you there! xoxoxo
