Four

Happy Birthday Lexi Mae!

I talked Dr West into letting me have 3/6/9 as Lexi's induction date. It was a week early and he thought I should wait a couple more days because my body just didn't seem ready. By the end of the week, I finally was progressing and he agreed 3/6/9 was a great birthday! And her timing was a great number also.

1st birthday
You didn't love your lemon poppy seed cake. BUT you loved the ice cream, to this day you LOVE icecream! Mom made the cake because it's one of her fav's.

2nd birthday....
Celebrated @ Disney World
We went to the store and bought a giant cookie for Lexi's cake.

3rd birthday
Flower Power Cake

And a PB cup trifle cake. It was a yummy birthday.

Four of my favorite things that I love about Lexi
1. Her love of everyone. She has never been jealous about any one's Mom time esp her Lilly. She loves to play with anyone and everyone and is a great friend to all.

2. I love listening to you sing. Your favorite songs right now are I'm a Child of God (although one verse she adds in the pledge of allegiance and sings "With Liberty kind and dear." You also love to sing Baby Bumble Bee and of course Taylor Swift's Picture to Burn.

3. Your help. You are a wonderful helper whether it is a diaper or a burp rag or emptying the dishwasher or helping me cook.

4. I love our time together. We watch Curious George together most mornings. We love to shop together and go places and play Strawberry shortcake's matching game. You love to just sit and talk with me too. You love to "Play" on the treadmill after I am done because you need to exercise too. You help me clean and fold laundry.

You are amazing and wonderful. I love you.
Happy Birthday Lexi.

Last week, Lexi's preschool class had a field trip. They went to a local Tae Kwan Do (sp)

They had the kids Kick and hit the pads.
 a balloon toss.

 an obstacle course
Jump on the trampoline and they even had a bounce house.
Even Lilly loved playing with the balloons.  It was a great field trip.

Some of the other things Lexi has been up to.
Playing or watching basketball. She loves this hat and even wears it to bed!
She loves to do hair. Maddy & Lexi were doing Aunt Heather's hair.
She loves to play with her bestie Abby
She loves to play with her dolls or Maddy's dolls or any dolls. She also loves to watch movies, the three of them are watching a movie.
I signed Lexi up for the closer preschool. It will be good to have her meet new friends that live by her and will go to Elementary school with her.
Her fav color is still purple
Her fav food is chicken nuggets & mac n cheese
She also loves being a sunbeam!

We celebrated Lexi's birthday a day early.
But really that means she just gets 2 days of celebrating!

Outside we are displaying our new birthday wreath!
I love it and it was easy to make, we did it for FHE last month.
Thanks Adrian and Our Best Bites for the instructions.
For breakfast we had pancakes with sprinkles to celebrate 4 year old.
Lexi wanted an owl birthday party. She had lots of owls friends to help her celebrate being 4.
She had her besties over in the morning while mom and her friends exercised and then she went to preschool. She opened this new plaid dress and of course had curly hair!
After school, we stopped at the store to pick out ice-cream and balloons. She picked purple and pink balloons.  Luckily the ceiling fan didn't eat the balloons too much!

We had G&G Price, Brody and Steph and girls over for dinner.

The suspense was killing Lexi, so she finally got to open her presents.

This microphone sings "I'm a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world"
Oh my, what was I thinking!!
She got a new Barbie bike!

Barbie movies, Wreck it Ralph and lots of dresses.
This girl loves dresses!

After presents it was time to sing happy birthday and eat our owl cupcakes.
Lexi and I made her cupcakes in the morning and all day she kept asking me where her "Cake" was, I usually do a cake and cupcakes but didn't. I did make a giant cupcake for her and luckily that sufficed. The kids decorated the cupcakes to look like owls. Didn't get a picture of the cupcakes up close but the kids had fun doing it. I really need to learn to do fondant, I dreamed of all the cute owls on pinterest for her cake but it was just that a dream!
 Happy 4th birthday Lexi!

It looked like she had a wonderful day(s)! She always has a sparkle and I love that about her! The owl cupcakes and balloons were adorable and I love the birthday wreath idea! What a great four years, Lexi! Wish we could have celebrated more of her birthday with her, but loved the few minutes we had. I did get a couple of pictures of the two last owl cupcakes. I'll get them to you.
