September

We started off the month of September with dinner at the Ranch. Dinner is almost always followed by a horse ride and a 4 wheeler ride. Lilly took a spin this time. She held on tight!!

Labor Day we (and most of the POAP holders) went to Trafalga. It was cool (we had rain all weekend), it was crowded and Maddy got stung by a bee. We waited in line for the paddle boats. I was afraid I'd have to go with Lexi and didn't really want to because the people coming off the boats were SOAKED! And I didn't really want to be, but lucky for (me) and Jack, he was tall enough to drive her around.

He was nice and even let her have a turn at soaking others.

Don't mind that I'm taking lots of pictures for my bzzagent gig. This month we tried some Old El Paso--we got these soft tortilla bowls and a couple of sauces to try. Bowls were alright but the sauce was delish!

Kids are back in school my little girls spend a lot of time together. Lexi is a great big sis and Lilly adores her! They both love to go in the back yard and pick raspberries. We have gotten a great crop this year I have made 2 batches of freezer jam, froze several bags full for smoothies and of course eaten some! We all love the raspberries that moved with us from Boise!

Mike has had his eye on an Atari, not sure why but he finally bit the bullet and bought one. It's over 30 years old. It was rather expensive for an "old" toy and I said that was his birthday present although day of his birthday I felt bad and still went shopping. He's a sucker and blames it on not having one growing up.

Here's the kids chowing down on lunch!

What does this card say? I found this on pinterest and did a card for Great Grandpa's 90th birthday.

9 tee  get it 90!! Yay took me a long time to get it. The real card I ended up putting a + sign between the die.

Maddy had Fair Day at school. She took her Rainbow Loom that she got for her birthday and several of her bracelets that she has made. She is getting very good and can whip up a bracelet in no time. She loves to watch youtube videos and make new bracelets. Its amazing how many youtubes there are also! She LOVES making bracelets. She is by her friend Sierra who I just heard is moving Nov 1, she/we will be so sad.

Mike's birthday "Cake" a cupcake from One Sweet Slice it was oreo dream, I was going to make him an oreo cake but we had a LOT of cake so I opted my way out this birthday.

I got to go with Maddy on a 3rd grade field trip to Silver Lake up in Brighton. It was the first cold day we woke up to and we were in the mountains. Around the lake there was frost but we didn't let it stop us from enjoying a day. We were all bundled up in our coats for the early morning and bus ride(the boys in front of us had the windows down for part of the ride but the dads on the bus made them put the windows up--thank goodness). I haven't been to the lake for 25 years. It was beautiful. We had a worksheet to fill out and learn about life at the lake. We saw a MOOSE, some of the others saw the mom and the calf--the bull was big enough for us! We ate a picnic lunch and the weather had warmed up just in time for another trip around the lake. Fun field trip! Fun day to spend with Maddy.

Maddy and Alli at the lake. One thing I learned Moose have terrible eye sight (good thing because we were pretty close) and chipmunks hibernate for 9 months. No wonder they are always burying acorns!

Maddy is showing off her new leg warmers that she got for her birthday. It is funny to see things come "Back" in style. Thanks Leslie for a darling gift!

The kids earned there way by being helpful and cleaning the house to go to the school carnival. They had lots of booths with activities, one of them was hair spraying. It's hard to tell but Maddy's hair is yellow. Last night (10 days later) I washed her hair and the water was STILL yellow.

Jack on the train ride. Lexi was here to but I didn't get a picture of her. It is supposedly the only PTA fund raiser of the year so we supported it. I think they did pretty well!

Uncle Dan came to visit. Here he is giving some of his nieces a hug goodbye. We tried to make them all re-pose for the picture and then it was blurry. These girls (and Jack) love Uncle Dan to pieces.

More bzz agent stuff. This time free diapers, wipes, soap, lotion and a bib to try out. So far so good. I love huggies diapers but have found store brand diapers to hold up just as well.

Here's our little table dancer modeling her new diapers! She is so skinny and has a long torso and short legs and a tiny waist her pants are always falling off her. This is so the Loveridge build!!

Another bzz kit this time transformer construct-bots. Kindof like legos but it turns into a transformer. The boys are having fun playing and of course making boy noises!

APPLESAUCE 60 jars with my friend Jen. Mike's grandparents apples froze or had an off year and I knew we wouldn't be able to get applesauce so Jen found a friend that had apples. Best part of the jars besides being awesome and tasty is that my canning jars are GONE with that means canning season is officially over!

Lexi had "e" week last week, on Friday she came home with ET. We rented the movie (Jack is afraid of him) but Lexi loves it.

Another bzz kit this time chocolate milk from Tru Moo. We tried a sample recipe and took a picture to show off our creation. It was delish!

Look at Lexi and Lilly's shirt. Jack decided to give both sisters extra brownie points so they wouldn't trade him off for a puppy!!

And that wraps up my camera phone in September. BOY have I been bad at taking pictures other than for bzz agent. I promise to do better. more posts to come!

Fun month! I want to go to that lake! On a warm day. With the moose still there. Love the trade brother shirts and really am glad that Maddy decided the bracelet making thing wasn't so bad, after all. I think she was a little disappointed when she first opened the gift. Love you all! Cant' wait to get together again.
