A decade and counting! How can that be. Can't believe my baby is a decade old!
Seems like yesterday I was on my way to work, it was about 6:45am when suddenly I felt I had wet my pants even though I knew I went to the bathroom before I left the house. Then it dawned on me. MY WATER JUST BROKE!
Mike and I were working in downtown Boise then and commuting together, I told him my water just broke and he looked at me like "how do you know"

The gushes of water proved it! Luckily we had a blanket in the trunk. We turned around, I went home and changed (not sure why I was so still wet even after changing-theres a lot of water that comes out of you), packed my bag (Maddy was 10 days early), Mike fixed me some scrambled eggs (which came up later during labor), and off we went to the hospital. I called in to work and told them I was in labor and probably wouldn't be back to work--ever!! I was going to be a mother. She was born at 4:36pm ~ 6 pounds and 21" long.

Maddy and Mom and Grama and Emma and Alex and Anna are celebrating a girls weekend in St George for her birthday. Lots of pictures to come.

Happy Birthday to Maddy! 10 is a weird one, for sure. How do they get this old? We hit 12 this year and that was insane, but also awesome because now I have a built in babysitter. I am excited to see what cute things you come up with for this year's celebration.
Happy Birthday, Maddy! Missed seeing you and even talking to you today, but for what it's worth, have sure thought about you a lot. Hope it's been a wonderful trip.
