And a couple more random pictures that didn't fit in the other posts mostly because I forgot about them!
Jack received his Bear aware at Cub Scouts. 4 other boys received their Arrow of Light award. They had this lady and her hawks come and do a presentation. We thought Jack would be able to hold the bird but instead only the Arrow of Light boys were awarded that, but he did get his picture by it.
Jack is also playing on an accelerated team for Copper Hills Knucklers. They play on Saturdays, sometimes the girls do also which gives us lots of field time! Before we went off track, the 5th graders had a Spring Tea. Everyone came dressed up and then they learned manners while several parents decorated the room. The boys escorted the girls, pulled out their chairs, served them cake and learned how to be nice and communicate. Maddy wasn't nervous, but some of the kids were. There were tears and nerves like they were getting married!
She has had a great year at school. The kids at the school are so polite and we are blessed to not have had any problems. I'm grateful for this group of kids she hangs out with. Even the boys also.
Sometimes we play in teh rain and don't get to have rainouts. They aren't really fun for anyone involved. I figured Jack had to be out in teh rain, so I should watch also. I'm glad I dropped off the girls at home because they would have been soaked because I was and I was even under an umbrella!
We ran to Home Depot and heard hammering. Mike took Lilly to do a bird box while I looked at the veggie plants. Didn't end up buying any, maybe this week I can buy a couple. After the hammeing the box together, they got to paint the bird house and put stickers on it. Lilly was all over the sticker part!
And more crazy weather pictures. This was about 1-2 minutes of a hail storm, the ground was completely covered in white in that short period of time. We've had lots of crazy wet weather and in the last couple of weeks. I wont lie I'm ready for it to warm up and afraid we'll be in the 90's and not get those nice days in the 70's and 80's!
