7 months

Can't believe I'm posting about Lilly being 7 months. Sigh, time is hear...Ready or not to leave her. 3 more weeks! But it will only be for 7 days, lets hope we both survive:)

Some fun memories from the month.

Getting babysat and falling asleep all bundled up in the stroller.

Lovin' her witch hat!
Sunday dinner. Great Grandpa Loveridge holding me (Lilly is named after his mom)
Visit from Grammie and Aunt Jill

CRAWLING Yep this is the month she crawled. What baby crawls at 6 months? Slow down girl. She doesn't move too far YET but has figured out she can get what she wants by crawling there.
Visited the Zoo. Loved watching the animals esp the elephants.
Phew, no one fell or was dropped in this picture!
 Riding the carousel with mom
Hmm, trying to get her to eat. Bought this thing-y-mo-bop...I stuck a banana in it. She did okay with it. Better than she does with baby food. She does not care for baby food and won't even open her mouth. This girl just might starve herself when I'm gone.
She found the iPad on the floor, crawled over it and started playing. Before long she'll have figured it out too! She also loves my cell phone and the remote control.

We visited Grammie at the Alpine Lodge Rehab last week. Grammie was certain Lilly needed to know that eating food could be fun experience. She gave her a graham cracker (her first food) and although most of it was on her shirt or the floor she did eat some of it. She has kind of been enjoying crackers--- but sometimes they come right up! Grammie is also convinced she needs an "all day sucker"! (pretty much a sucker she could suck on all day). She also wanted me to give her some cows milk (cuz that's what she gave her babies) or cranberry juice. Grammie isn't a fan of apple juice and told me not to give her that---it's too sweet!

When we stopped into see Grammie on Sunday; Laura and her kids came too.

Mike weighed her this week and she is down to 15 pounds (she was 16# at 4 months). Guess crawling has thinned her out. I've also been told by so many people how thin she is getting. I see her every day so I haven't really noticed, but yep she is thinning out.

I switched laundry soaps and poor Lilly suffered. She had a big hive like rash all over her body except where her diaper was. Back to Dreft!

Cold--yep again. We are 7 months old and probably been sick 7 times no joke! Lexi loves sharing;)

And here is our picture with Fluffy. A couple weeks ago I asked the kids to go through their stuffed friends and donate some to the DI, it would have been so sad if Fluffy made the list. Last minute, Maddy changed her mind and donated her "other" pillow pet! Phew! Gotta keep the tradition for at least 5 more months.
What the heck? So she pretty much sat up, the next week figured out how to sit herself back into sitting position and then the next week was crawling and now she is already trying to stand herself up!
Lexi loves this girl. She is constantly (in time out) picking up Lilly and carrying her to and fro. She gets her out of the exersaucer, rolls with her...you name it she does it. Lilly is pretty tough and loves the attention most of the time.

And a 7 month comparison. Maddy just sat at 7 months. Lexi is sporting the same outfit that Lilly is wearing today. I just love hand me downs!! And Jack was army crawling at 7 months.

She's so cute (I'm glad you didn't get rid of fluffy). I hear ya on the crawling- my girls were in a hurry too. Macey crawled at 5 months, and Ally at 6 months. Why must they be in such a hurry to grow up?? :)
Good luck getting ready for your trip. Do you have all of your help lined up for your kids? If so, give my info out as a back-up or if there are some days you know you need help with, let me know.
