Scarecrow Festival

Fall Break Weekend was Oct 18-20, typically its also UEA but for some reason not all the schools had the same weekend off. The weather was perfect fall weather, the sun was out and we had a destination to attend. The kids brought home a flyer for the Scarecrow Festival and it was FREE! Normally they charge for it but this year did the festival for free. Figured it would be fun and it was!! We meet some of our buddies and enjoyed the day. Some of the activities they had were.

Train Ride

Rock Wall

Face Painting
This stayed on Jack for 5 days, I finally made him wash it off because I thought people would think he hadn't had a bath in as many days as the paint was on his face!
Games & Prizes
Giant Pumpkin

Picture Spots
Rocket Launcher. We didn't find this til just before we were leaving. It was probably my favorite spot. The kids made a rocket and then got to blast it off and chase after it. Lexi loved it. Sorry for everyone who she butted in front of in line. She doesn't understand the concept of waiting for her turn!

Down at the bottom you can see the mechanics involved in making the rocket launch.
They also had a giant ball you could roll in, a climbing maze, a trampoline jump (line was way too long) and bounce houses. It was so much fun. Glad we went! Hopefully they do it again next year for free!
