Witches

During the Priesthood Session us girls and Jack went on a witch hunt at Gardner Village. We had a scavenger check list and we were determined to reach the goal and earn a discounted cookie! Unfortunately it was only a chocolate chip cookie as the prize, all the other cookies looked scrumptious! That's okay at the end of the night we had something just as tasty! Thanks Julie for the pictures!

We had a list of 10 witch clues. IE. Witch reading a newspaper (she was in the outhouse). Witch eating a hot dog and soda....The whole village is decorated and so cute. We didn't have time to stop into the shops and look around. The crowds weren't too bad like we heard they could be, the weather was chilly but what else do you except for October nights!

After we searched the booths, tried on just about every witch hat you could think of and came home with a Beanie Baby we came back to sing Happy Birthday to Grandma! Happy 60!

Lilly and Ashlyn were at the witch hunt too...just snuggled up to stay warm. When we came home, Lilly herself had to try on Grandma's new witch hat. She really just wanted to eat it!!

 

Fun night! Conference was uplifting for me, I cleaned 1/2 of my shutters while listening and then finished the upstairs on Monday. What a difference clean windows makes! Didn't realize I couldn't see very well.

 

Sunday we also celebrated Julie's birthday. Then they treated the kids to a Halloween hunt.

Let the season for candy begin.

How do you avoid eating it? I haven't bought any yet...
