Back 2 School 2015-2016

Here's a recap of the first day of school

Lilly went to school for her first day today and got a stuffed turtle as she walked in. She talked about enjoying preschool and painting and singing and playing. She is really going to LOVE it!

This year Jack gets to study the State of Utah. He will have homework this year...it was already a fight on day 1. This boy! Loves to PLAY! 

 First day of 1st grade. ALL DAY LONG! 8:25am-3:25pm

Kindof but not really. We went for her test and to meet her teacher. Technically she didn't go to school today except for 30 minutes. BUT I figured a picture would help me not forget the next day!

 5th grade. She will be studying the US. The kids have bigger desks, more responsbility, and are almost last to eat lunch. She's growing up! One more year in grade school. Phew, I'm glad I'm not ready for middle school.

Maddy broke out in hives on Saturday night, still not sure why but I am so glad they are not too noticeable. They did itch but were never really too red but all over her face. She's a keeper! Love his glitter girl of mine, can't believe she's almost 11.

 We pulled up and ran around to the side where the kids line up. We arrived just as the bell rang and snapped a picture with a friend in their class this year. Maddy and Grace and Jack and Ryan not sure who the other boy is!

 

 yep can you tell we are excited!! I even asked for some enthusiasm and this is what I got!

 Today, Tuesday. These 2 also got to go to school. I wasn't sure Lilly was going to make it, she had a fever all day yesterday and wouldn't eat but woke up full of energy and an appetite. Lexi was up first this morning @ 7:20 and even got her sister ready for her first day of school too.

 I will admit I cried twice today. First when my baby went to all day school--first grade. And then a second time when I dropped my other baby off at preschool all by herself! Lilly was so excited to go when the big kids went (8:25am) but her school doesn't start til 9:30 so we had to wait, she started to get anxious and asked if I could come with her. But just as we pulled up she said "mom, I will be brave" and in she walked. Gave me a hug and said goodbye.  It's been a long day for me. Luckily I got Lilly to take a nap or it'd be so long for her also. I remember when Jack went to 1st grade, lexi kept asking if it was time for school to end yet. It's almost time!

 When the bell rang, Payten was right in back of line of Lexi. I snapped a picture of the two of them. They are 2nd cousins and so lucky to be in the same class again this year.

 This is their picture from kindergarten last year. Cute girls!

School will be out in 5 minutes and I can't wait to see how the 1st day of school went!
