During our car problems, Mike thought the car was fixed and took it to work. We decided to go on a hike with some friends. Come to find out, the car over heated again and they were still trying to decide what was wrong with it. BUT the one day in 2 weeks, we had a car we did a hike up Bell's Canyon. Miss Lilly even walked the whole way up! I was prepared to carry her but she did great. Thanks Kami and Kristi for the photo's and of course a great morning.
I think the hike is over a mile up and then at the top is a small lake.

The kids threw rocks, splashed about, we ate a light lunch and then we headed back down. It was a cool morning from a rain storm the previous day but it began to heat up by mid day. Not bad for a July hike. We didn't get too early of a start either because Maddy had piano @ 9:30 but was just right! I wanted to do more hiking this summer but time has slipped away from us and not having a car too. Hopefully we can still hike when we go on track break in October.
