Phone dump

Its a good thing I have a phone on my camera because I would miss out on lots of things. Or rather, I'm sure the phone on my camera makes me forget to bring the camera. I really should bring the camera because my old phone takes stinky pics! Oh well, here is some of our happenings in July.

7 peaks with friends even if it was for only a couple hours after school

One of the best things in July was Elder Josh Wilson coming home! He served in Barcelona Spain. I think he has grown an inch. We were so excited to see him. We arrived just as he was giving his mom a giant squeeze. This brought tears to my eyes--I hope my son comes and finds me first as well.

We snagged a picture with my kids. Someone on IG commented how cute the kids were all lined up in a row.

Beckett was being a little shy to see Josh. Lilly and Beckett were just 1 when Josh left. Nick and Tia had a sign with their two girls that they had waited there whole life to meet Josh (since they are 5 months old and 22 months). So fun to see everyone.

Here's a quick photo of the family at the airport.

Maddy played in a summer softball league. It was in a Rec Center and it was hot! But what can you expect in June/July. She played with Charity and Grace former team mates. The competition on this league was non existent but it kept her playing and practicing. We just signed her up for Fall ball. She loves softball right now!

One rainy morning we decided to go to Thanksgiving Point and go to the Museum of Natural Curiosity. Well we were not alone in that thought. Less than an hour later, we were at the farm and there were no lines! We enjoyed a picnic lunch, a horse ride, hay ride and then went over to the Dinosaur museum and ended with an ice cream cone. It was the perfect day and to top it off with spent the time with cousins! We LOVE our TP membership pass!! Thanks again Brent and Julie for the gift that gets used all the time.

Lexi is always doing bunny ears on something or someone. Cutest picture of these two cousins.

Later that night, I ran up to Farmington to meet some old High School friends for dinner. Wasn't sure it would happen because it was also free chick a fila day and we only had one car but Mike sacrificed free chicken so I could go. Such a fun night, laughing and reminiscing and really counting our blessings for all that we have. Staci, Heather, Sarah, and Me

Mike participated in his 2nd Ragnar over Father's Day weekend in June. The weather was HOT and in the 90's, he even had an afternoon run. BUT loves every minute of it.

I don't know who this guy is but Mike was happy to have his photo with him.

Mike ran into several Boise friends while running. The running world is a fierce one!

And then a group shot of the team. Mike is hiding in the back row.

After playing and swimming at 7 peaks, we went to the Bee's game with some free tickets we had. We got great seats by the 3rd base, Jack got a foul ball from the relief pitchers and the Bee's won! The kids even sat here the whole game. Mike did go stand in line for the train but it was a fun night.

Elsa and Anna came to visit

I wanted to take a hike up Albion Basion but the car was in the shop so instead we left after work. It was very crowded and we had a hard time finding a parking spot. By the time we parked the sun was setting and we didn't bring jackets (it was another cool July day--we had lots this year). We walked a mile and found this ski bench to take a photo by.

Lilly always has other ideas when it comes to taking pictures. Bless her heart!
One the way out of the Basin we saw 2 moose and hiked up to see them eating some trees.

So we didn't get to do the hike we intended to come to--we went South and the Hike was North. Another day we will start earlier and see the falls!
