East Canyon

The Jack and Lois Price family reunion was over the 24th of July weekend at East Canyon resort. I wasn't sure how long we would be able to go with Mike starting his 3rd job of the year. Yep, he know works for Intellibed. BUT to our delight because it's a Utah company, he had the 24th off! So we headed out camping with him on Thursday. The weather was perfect, we somehow didn't have any bugs, the swimming pool was open and the out houses weren't that bad--esp for Lilly whose first experience they were!

Friday at the pool. It's nice to go clean off before more dirt is re applied! The pool is packed full of chlorine also. Poor Lexi's suit is light blue now instead of dark blue.

We headed back to the meadow for crafts and games and some photos. Here is Grandma Price with 7 of her kids, we miss Aunt Sarah in this photo. Steve, Bob, Floyd, Vance, Linda, Louise, Sharon

Grandma and Grandpa had 8 kids, 33 grand children and she has 88 greats! This was just some of us. It was especially fun this year at the reunion because a lot of cousins from out of town came. East Canyon built cabins by the reservoir and the Oregon cousins stayed there because they didn't have to haul as much stuff to camp.


This is really only an hours worth of dirt on her face. Cutest photo's from toddlers--me being that dirty is not so cute:)


Here's Grandma in action. She stayed at the condos but came every day and spent the day at Dead Ox with us campers.

At night the kids roam the meadow. Here are some of the girl cousins that are between  Lexi and Maddy's age.


We weren't sure we were going to make it camping. Lexi woke up sick and lost her cookies! BUT she ate lunch and then a dozen smores so I guess her stomach was ok and thank goodness no one else caught it! (that I know of anyways)

We packed up Saturday morning, Mike ran around the lake while the kids cleaned off in the pool. It was fun to have so many cousins to play with. This is what the Price family has always been for me. Oodles and Oodles of family! The best times for sure! And sleeping was ok. Although, Maddy panicked the 2nd night and it made for a restless start but eventually we all got some sleep.
